I purchased this property in 2003, primarily because of the excellent, central Denver location immediately adjacent to Sloan's Lake and the Highlands...and also the potential it offered as a unique remodel property. I also appreciated the very quiet neighborhood as well as the easy access to downtown Denver, the mountains and all major highways and attractions. I've not been disappointed in any of my original notions of the home or the location. It is unique on all counts.

Amenities include two hair dryers, a curling iron, Q-tips, body wash, shampoo. hand soap, toilet paper, and other bathroom necessities. For additional guests, there is a futon in the upstairs entertainment area, a play and pack, a single foam camping pad, and a full size deluxe blow up mattress. All have fitted sheeting. Four sets of additional linen are provided. There is a washer and dryer for any additional needs.

Excellent for long term stay

We rented this house for 4 months while relocating to Denver. The house was in excellent condition and the property manager ensured that the house/yard was properly maintained and equipped at all times. It has 2 cozy living areas and a great backyard for those sunny days in Denver. It's only 2 blocks from Sloan's Lake which is perfect for running/walking and for the kids to ride their bikes. Great neighbors, too!

December getaway

My family and I loved staying at the Quitman home. The weather was in our favor and we were able to have a few fires in the pit provided in the evening which was really nice. Also, the photos are representative of the property. And, my favorite part was the quiet neighborhood. We had children with us and the neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We were also able to enjoy all the fun of downtown in a quick ride. Loved it here and we will definately be back.

My husband and I met two other couples in Denver to see back to back Dave Matthews Shows. The house was perfect in that we could use it as a base for our daily activities and all be together. We all felt very secure and at ease with the security measures in place. The home has all the amenities you could ever want plus some! We loved the Nana doors that open out onto the courtyard! It is updated, comfortable and clean. We are already talking about visiting Denver again and using this rental. The property manger was more than helpful and responsive, I feel I have a friend in Denver now! The entire process was easy and very well planned and thought out. We all highly recommend this VRBO if you want to be close to downtown, but in a neighborhood. There is even a lake with bike/ running trails right out your back door. 12 thumbs up for this one!

Great Choice for Life Event

We had several family members stay here for our reunion to introduce my new found son given up for adoption 35 years ago. It was perfect for sleeping, playing, cooking, entertaining as well as relaxing indoors and out. It's in a quiet neighborhood just a stone's throw from beautiful Sloan's Lake. There were numerous comments from various guests regarding the special home this was ~ the beautiful great room floor plan with the back yard made for living.

Last, but certainly not least was the joy it was to work with the property manager. She was very accommodating and saw to every detail making our stay a true vacation getaway.

My family heartily gives this rental our highest recommendation!

Beautiful home close to everything!

My extended family and I traveled to Denver and spent four nights in this gorgeous home. From first contact with the property manager, Tonnie, to our check out, we had an amazing experience. The home was immaculate and full of amenities. Our children loved the spacious backyard, where they played in the hammock and told ghost stories around the fire pit making s'mores. The large wall of windows in the main living area opens to the outdoors, making a gorgeous indoor/outdoor living space that we enjoyed. The house was just blocks from a huge park and lake, and we took advantage of the supplied tennis rackets and balls to teach the kids a new sport. Tonnie was responsive and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was just minutes from downtown, loads of shopping, Elitch Gardens and many great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect away home!

Though we did not have the time or opportunity to meet the property manager, Tonnie Warren, she was most helpful in assisting me with the details of rental of this property. It was a wonderful house, very comfortable, with everything provided that one might need and spotless! The backyard with all its amenities was such a lovely place to relax and to entertain. We were there for a grandchild's wedding so we entertained the groom's family at the home. A perfect place to entertain. Loved all of the posters, art work throughout the home! Younger family members took advantage of the bikes and rode to the lake each day. Property provided easy access to all the activities associated with the wedding. Our ages ranged from 86 to 29 and we were all very comfortable. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself. Our thanks to the owner and to Ms. Warren. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone.
