About Susan Enlow

Our family loves the mountains and purchased this cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of Southern CA... and to escape the heat of the Inland Empire. We love to hike, ski, fish, bike and snow shoe. Our grandchildren love to come up to play whether there is snow or not. The zoo, museum, and the Discovery Center are all favorite places to visit. When we arrive we feel instantly at peace and hope you get that same feeling when you visit.

Susan Enlow purchased this cabin in 2009

THE BEST Cozy Cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is everything you could ask for in a peaceful getaway! All you need is in here! Everything is immaculate! Even though it has the mountain-cabin feel, it also has the hospitality of a nice hotel! We got away from the city and were not disappointed with the peace and quiet, sounds of nature, and especially the hot tub under the stars.

We will definitely be booking another stay at this lovely cozy cabin!

Fun weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was great! Susan was helpful with any questions prior to our stay and Nick (property manager) was available anytime we had a question during our visit. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog to run and play. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the winter to enjoy the sledding hill just up the street.

Lovely and cozy home with everything you need for a small getaway.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here. Very clean, cute on the outside and beautiful inside. Spacious living room didn't know there was a 2nd floor (was a plus the kids loved it). You can tell there was a lot of thought going into caring for the place and the people renting. Owner is very nice. Would highly recommend and plan to rent again.

Great Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Susan was great to work with. She communicated really well and made sure we were well prepared for our trip. Her manager, Nick, was prompt in getting back to us with any questions we had. I have 3 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. The cabin is very clean, everything worked, and the hot tub was perfect. It was a great first experience for my family and we will definitely be back!

BEST PLACE EVER!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here over Super Bowl weekend 2017! The place was perfect and the pictures did not do it justice! Every square inch of the place was used to perfection. Tons of seating in the living room and a nice large table in the kitchen. All three bedrooms upstairs had plenty of room as well. We were there with 9 people and two dogs. The back yard was huge and fenced in for the kids and dogs! We even made a sledding track in the back yard. The spa was great too:) There is a huge sledding hill just 5 houses up the street... (the best kept secret in Big Bear~!) Cant wait to go back:) PS both the property manager and owner are amazing as well and answered any questions I had promptly.

Our cabin is located a stones throw from the National Forest, with a wonderful sledding hill, hiking, biking, and snowshoeing all right from the front door. A short drive takes you to the cutest museum complete with a real blacksmith and gold panning for the kids. (Open summers only). Of course, skiing, boating and shopping are available a short 13 minute drive away.
