Spacious 3 bed/2ba Town Home near Snow Basin/Powder Mountain & Historic 25th

I have two condos in Ogden. This one listed here and another, which is a 3 bed/2 bath with attached garage listed at: vacationrentals #3879989
This is a beautiful and comfortable 1620 sq ft condo; well situated near historic Ogden to 12th Avenue, and straight up to Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. Close to biking and hiking trails, Ogden River, Pineview Reservoir and whatever interests may bring you to the area. Two sofa sleepers can also add up to 2-3 more people.
This newly renovated kitchen has beautiful oak kitchen counters and ceramic, mosaic tile with beautiful oak cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bake ware and more stuff than you'll likely ever need.
Three bedrooms: One queen bed, two full beds. Two bedrooms are upstairs with a full bathroom and the third bedroom is in the basement. My basement is beautiful, with beechwood hardwood floors in the living space/office, which has a large TV, cable, DVD and sofabed, plus a private full bedroom and private bath.
Historic Ogden on 25th street, just a few blocks and minute down the road, has a quaint, old town feel with local shopping and restaurants, Great for meandering and catching a few dining options with Zagat star restaurants or family-owned dining. Easy and free parking at Union Station and across the street, you’re there. Or, certainly, there is parking is available on 25th Street but can be a little congested during ski season.
However, if skiing and a quick bite is your cup of tea, 'fast food central' is all along 12th Street right up to the mountain: iHop around the corner, Carl’s Jr., Panda Express, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Arby’s, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds, etc. Other breakfast restaurants are also on 12th (i.e. Village Inn) right on your way to ski country! Or if you want to shop to shop your own stuff, there’s a Walmart just about 4 blocks around the corner or a Winco foods even closer (note: they don’t take credit cards).
Zip zip zip, JUST 12 MILES! up the road and you are at Snow Basin where they held the winter Olympics!
Zip zip zip, the same road up, you can easily reach Powder Mountain or family-friendly Wolf Canyon to ski to your hearts delight. Just a minute from the base of the mountain and you'll be headed up to enjoy all the powder your legs can endur.
This corner unit condo is equipped to safely secure your ski gear on a private deck. WIFI enabled TV's in the living room and master bedroom for you to enjoy pre-paid streaming Neflix and HuluPlus for your enjoyment. Digital cable with HBO is also available in the living room along with a DVD player.

This property initially started out as an investment and I rented it. But after renovating it, I decided to furnish it and use it as my own vacation home, and share it with others looking for a great place to stay on a budget.

The unique benefit to this place is of course its location to the resorts. Just 12 miles up the road, and you are in world class ski territory at world class prices. What can be better than that??

This was a great condo. Everything was just as described: very comfortable, good location, very pet friendly. I hope we will be able to stay here again in the future since we have family in the area.
We enjoyed our stay at this very spacious condo while visiting family for a reunion. Very close to grocery, dining and downtown Ogden. Highly recommend.
Very confortable conso for a family
The house was clean and spacious. It was great for a family worh children. My reccomendations would be to make sure the fire alarms had batteries in them, and consider adding a pack n play. We loved having the high chair to use!!

clean, and comfortable
The condo is very clean. A short car ride to markets, etc. The bedrooms are quite, & peaceful, with very comfortable beds. With 90F degrees outside, it was great to have a good AC system.
Condo location was great for our 3 night ski trip to Snowbasin. Just up the road is "Second Turns", a helpful ski equipment and rental shop. Shares parking lot with a good grocery.
Beds were comfortable (did not try the sofas). Internet speeds OK. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Sidewalk was shoveled for us. I do recommend this condo
One request would be to add an electric griddle. When cooking breakfast (french toast) I found it difficult to regulate the stove top. Smoke filled the unit. The batteries had been removed from the smoke detectors, so others must have experienced the same.
Additional information about rental rates
2 night regular non-refundable cancellation fee plus tax and any initial booking fees charged with your reservation. No refunds if plans cancel within 30 days of check in or during holidays. No refunds for early departure. Where arranged deposits are made, if balances due are not paid within due date, your reservation and deposit are subject to forfeiture.
