Nicely decorated, great location

  • 4 of 5

Ocean Springs is one of our favorite places to visit on the Gulf Coast, an old town that is coming alive with more restaurants, shops, and delightful places to stay. This half cottage was very comfortable and nicely decorated having a nice living area and comfortable bedroom. The bathroom, too, is nicely furnished. The location is a short block from Government St where there is lots of action, and just a few blocks from Washington Ave. with restaurants and shops. It is also within walking distance of the Walter Anderson Museum, one of our favorites. In the morning I walked to the boat docks below the Shearwater Pottery, but you want to drive to the pottery so you can carry back your purchases.

Bon maison

  • 5 of 5

This place was great. Location is centrally located to entire downtown area. Just walk one block over and you can shop, eat, drink, or cut a rug. Restaurants are plentiful. Variety of places to grab a drink. There is a brewery down the road too. Stayed here two nights. One of the best things about this place is the bed. It's huge. Seriously. No joke. Bed was nice... Porch is great too. Go sit out and have a drink. Ipod dock in the bedroom was bon. Clean up crew was nice. While we were out they came in and spruced up the place (make bed, throw trash, etc.) Drove to the O'Keeffe Museum. Check it out. I would definitely come back here. The experience was excellent.

Quaint little house perfectly located to downtown Ocean Springs.

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bradford House. Our suite was very well decorated and cozy. The master bed was extremely comfortable with great linens. Our boys shared the couch bed and slept great. Our check-in was really easy and when we arrived everything was very clean and inviting. Be prepared that this is an older home with thin doors and wood floors but we loved that about it. We felt like we were going back In history a bit. There is a good mix of updated furniture in the suite along with some fabulous antiques. It was a nice mix of old and new. The screened porch is great for drinking coffee in the morning (or wine in the evenings). We were able to walk to the restaurants and shops which was great. We loved Maison de Lu, Tatonuts and the French Kiss Bakery!

Charming Jewel in Downtown Ocean Springs!

  • 5 of 5

We have been staying at the Bradford House for the last couple of months while doing a short term job in Biloxi. The accomodations have been outstanding and just as advertised. The owners, Roxy and Ted, are more than helpful in suggesting dining options and keeping the cottage clean and well maintained. The decor contributes to the restful ambiance along with a fantastic screen porch for relaxing...The King Bed is wonderfully comfortable and HD tv's and DVD in both living room and bedroom gives two people all the options for viewing entertainment after a busy day. We appreciated the pet policy which allowed our dog Hogan to join us on our short term stay. Ocean Springs is a most charming seaside town - don't miss Maison de Lu's salads, soups and sandwiches or the lamb chops at the Phoenician. Tons of restaurant and shopping choices steps from your front door - but location of Bradford House is quiet and serene. Come enjoy! We would recommend personally to anyone looking for a Getaway to the Gulf....and just 10 minutes to the gambling/nightlife in Biloxi or an hour to the excitement of New Orleans.

I believe we were the first guests at this new location and it was great. Very well decorated and great location in downtown ocean springs. We walked to both lunch and dinner. Also walked to beach for sunset.

Ocean Springs, Mississippi, lies at the heart of the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast on the eastern shore of Biloxi Bay. It’s known as the City of Discovery in recognition of the French establishment of a settlement here in 1699. Long before the French arrived, however, the area was appreciated for its beauty and natural resources by Native Americans. The attributes that brought these early residents have attracted a diverse stream of people during the past 300 years. Ocean Springs has been flavored by many influences during its rich history, and now in the 21st century, it has a unique character that makes us happy to call it home
