Great location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Newport. My family stayed there after my son's wedding, and it worked out perfectly. The home is beautifully restored with modern conveniences, plus the millennials enjoyed being close to the wharf. We were very comfortable there, and would highly recommend it.

Adorable house and fabulous location!

  • 5 of 5

The house was well equipped with everything we needed for the holiday weekend. It was conveniently located to many of the Newport "hot spots" so we walked to almost every destination. The homeowners were great to work with. The only drawback to our stay were some plumbing issues with a couple of the toilets. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the house to anyone visiting Newport.

VROB Listing #450216

We rented this home for a family vacation in August. The weather was great for watching beautiful sunsets. Our group consisted of ages from 9 to 77 years old and each person found something special to do. Two of our teenagers are certified sailing instructors and were able to take the group sailing. Others loved the beaches. We also had some who loved the great shopping. The home was such a central location that most of our group walked to to all these events. Would rent again and recommend this rental

Wonderful Location!!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for my son's wedding and it was perfect in every way...warm, spacious, up to date kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms, and there were many! were charming and comfortable. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and were available for any questions during our stay. We were able to park our car and walk or bike everywhere. I would hope to rent this house again when we come back for longer stay, it was that perfect!

Great House

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for my daughter's wedding. Could not have been any happier, the house was perfect! Spacious, immaculate and with much Newport charm. Loved the fact that its all updated, fully equipped kitchen and even the barbecue had gas.

The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Would do it all over again.

This beautiful historic home is steps to downtown waterfront, all the major bars and restaurants, mansion tours on famous bellevue ave, shopping on thames st, scenic walk on cliff walk not to mention you are surrounded by the three beaches of aquidneck island. Through the years newport has made a name for itself in a variety of manners, first as a colony founded on religious freedom, later as the summer playground for the american socialite families with names like astor and vanderbilt, as a key location for the united states navy, and then as the yachting capital of the world. Today, the stories of newport can be enjoyed on tours through opulent ocean-side mansions, interesting museums, and historic sites such as coastal forts, lighthouses, and worship buildings. For a closer look at the city-by-the-sea, visitors can choose from a variety of walking tours, boat tours, and self-guided tours.
