THE PROPERTY

Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds | Living Room: Pullout Sofa Bed

Enter into the main living space that fully embodies the warmth of a cabin with wood trimmings lining the walls and ceilings. Complete with modern, rustic decor, a flat-screen cable TV, and wood-burning fireplace, you’ll have no trouble settling in for your stay.

Off the living room, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and a dining table set for 4. Natural light pours into the open space through large windows along the back wall, as well as the sliding glass doors leading out to the deck.

Walk down the hall to find 2 bedrooms with the same warm and inviting feel as the living room, decorated in warm tones and wood furnishings. A full bathroom lies between the 2 rooms, equipped with a tub-shower combo.

When you’re through hiking for the day, fire up the charcoal grill for dinner and soak your worries away in the private hot tub out on the deck. There is also a fire pit available for your use right on the river.

THE LOCATION

What’s a trip to the mountains without hiking? Trail access from the cabin is as easy as stepping out the back door. Enjoy an abundance of hiking trails - great in both the winter and summer.

If you are up for a drive, immerse yourself in Colorado’s history in historic Georgetown, located about an hour away. Charming architecture, quaint neighborhoods, and local shops and restaurants line the streets of this old mining town.

Travel through Guanella Pass for picturesque views of the Rockies. For more outstanding mountain views, spend a day roaming Red Cone and Webster Pass.

During the winter, enjoy snowshoeing or cross country skiing from the cabin, or travel to Keystone, Breckenridge, or Copper for a day of skiing or snowboarding.

What an amazing place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin in the woods was such a peaceful place. If you are looking to get away into the forest but still have luxury...this is the place. One of my favorite things I enjoyed was looking up at the stars (no light polution) while sitting in the hot tub feeling a cool mountain breeze on my face while listening to silence.....perfect...paradise. I hope to go back again. Debra

Beautiful views and perfectly secluded!

  • 5 of 5

The property was perfect! The owners have thoughtfully prepared the home for any circumstance. It’s cozy and well stocked with what you’d need to be comfortable in the mountains. The owners are very easy to communicate with and made sure we needed for nothing. They genuinely want you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed while you’re there. My wife and I loved our time there and will definitely be back. If you rent here be prepared for a 3 mile dirt road adventure, no problem in our rental car but just be aware it’s a tad rough in spots. Also, grab a bite at the Shaggy Sheep while you’re in town, the biscuits are great!

OUTSTANDING

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect. Beautiful location. Clean and cozy. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We didn't think we would use the hot tub, but it was clean and ready to go when we arrived so we enjoyed it very much. The weather turned cold while we were there so we also enjoyed the fireplace with plenty of dry wood ready go. Walking down to the creek on the walking path with our morning coffee was a great way to start the day. Klare was very friendly and always there to answer any questions. HIGHLY recommend this cabin. Will definitely rent here again!

Comfortable and cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect secluded cabin in the mountains. It was fascinating to watch the hummingbirds while soaking in the hot tub. The trail to the water was perfectly kept, leading to a beautiful stream with bridges to cross or a hammock to lounge in. The cabin was well stocked with extremely comfortable beds. The one downfall to this vacation home is the road getting to the cabin is quite rough. Overall, very good vacation spot. We would love to return
