                                                          Loved the place! Very comfortable beds and sitting area. Nice quiet location, even during St Patrick’s Day, and easy walk to Tulane, streetcars, and some local bars and food. Owner very nice and easy to work with... highly recommend!

                                                          House is your typical New Orleans shotgun, bathroom was between the 2 bedrooms though which was nice so you didn’t have to walk through both bedrooms. Beds were really comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry room. Neighborhood grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, all within 10 minutes walking distance and it’s also less than 10 minutes to walk to the St Charles streetcar. An Uber from Canal and Bourbon to the house was about $20. Would definitely stay here again.

                                                          We wanted an extended visit to New Orleans and decided to rent far from the bustle of the French Quarter and CBD. This was a nice place to stay; unlike being in a hotel, we had plenty of room, having a full living room, dining room, and kitchen, along with the two comfortable bedrooms and tons of closet space. The bathroom has an authentic clawfoot tub that became safer after we added a bath mat. Shelving over the toilet added much-appreciated bathroom storage. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer and was well-appointed.

                                                          The kitchen appliances are modern, but we didn't use the stove. Other reviewers mentioned the creaky floors, and yes they are older hardwood floors - we did hear the neighbor walking around but never voices or other noises. The house is comfortable but not "sleek" - it has old and charming woodwork and doors. And even in February, the central air conditioning was greatly appreciated!

                                                          The neighborhood is undergoing revitalization. A nearby house was being cleared out prior to being sold, so lots of activity and trash waiting for pickup; however, the people were nice, fun to talk to, and even offered to help us while we were packing up the car to leave <3

                                                          Since it was February, the backyard deck was really not able to be used as it had not yet been cleaned up after winter. Not a deal-breaker in our opinion.

                                                          We enjoyed the convenience of walking down to the Maple Street businesses and had a couple of really good burgers and beers at Bruno's. Easy to see that it is a popular local hangout.

                                                          Dee the Owner was easy to contact and gave us exactly the information we needed prior to walking in (key code, wifi info, etc). I sent Dee a list of small maintenance items (i.e., burned out porch light) and was assured they would be promptly taken care of.

                                                          We will return to this site when we want to return to NOLA and hope it's available then.
