Beautiful cabin just down the road from Campbell Folk School

  • 5 of 5

Just spent a lovely weekend at Whippoorwill cabin while attending classes at the Folk school. One word of advice: arrive in daylight as the twisty one lane roads winding through the hills make the cabin difficult to find. But once here, I enjoyed every minute. The owners invested in quality and it shows. Lovely wooden floors. Stone fireplace with gas heat. And of course, Smoky mountain bear decor. Fabulous cabin!

Immaculate, beautiful, welcoming

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace! It was a very cold New Years weekend so we were not able to enjoy the outdoor amenities which are awesome! The property is almost like staying in a treehouse. Every window has a beautiful view of the woodlands. We were fortunate to see a couple of deer on two occasions this weekend. It was restful, peaceful, and very comfortable. The interior is beautifully decorated . We will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Lovely cabin in Brasstown

  • 5 of 5

I had a great stay here while attending a class at the John C. Campbell Folk School. It's very close to the school and it takes less than five minutes to drive to the school. The setting is very private and the location is quiet. The cabin itself is beautiful. The wireless actually works! I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners provided very detailed instructions to get there, which was helpful. Although it isn't far on the last stretch (gravel road), I would not want to try to find it in the dark the first time.
