Kihei Bay Surf complex is conveniently located for easy access to the best Maui has to offer. It is specifically located across the street from Kalepolepo Beach Park and the Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary. This 450 square foot first floor air-conditioned unit at Kihei Bay Surf is newly painted, has new flooring, brand new furniture and linens, and many more updates throughout. The decor has a boutique/Bohemian flare and is incredibly tasteful and comfortable. Save money by cooking meals at the condo. There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave, plenty of cupboard space as well as dishes, pots and pans, bake ware, and utensils. The complex includes a shared coin-operated laundry room, tennis court, pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. Everything in Maui is within a reasonable distance, and many of the best beaches in Maui are less than a 15 minute drive. The airport is 20 minutes away, plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping are less than a 5 minute drive away. This is truly a great way to enjoy Maui at an affordable price, have the convenience of a kitchen and home amenities, and still enjoy a romantic and stylish place to stay.

About the owner: Hello! My name is Jessica, and I grew up and still live in the small Eastern Washington town of Chewelah. There are about 2000 people in Chewelah, and I like to think our town is one of the world's best kept secrets. I love the four seasons; I love swimming, boating, hiking and camping in the summer, and skiing, sledding, and snow shoeing in the winter. I went to pharmacy school at Washington State University and graduated in 2010. My husband, Mike, was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in April 2011. I left my job as a full-time pharmacist to take care of him and he passed away less than 6 months later in September 2011 at the age of 27. After he passed away, I took more time off work and traveled. Most of my time traveling was spent alone. Maui held a special place in my heart, and I made it a goal to own a condo there that I could use as a second home as well as an investment. This goal was realized when I purchased this condo in August 2012.
Why the Owner Chose Kihei, HI, USA:
On my second trip to Maui, I looked at a number of condos, but a studio was the only thing I could afford. This unit was within my price range and showed potential. With little hesitation, I purchased it. I didn't come back to Maui to see it again for 5 months, at which point I panicked because it was in worse shape than I remembered. I was only scheduled to be in Maui for two weeks, and I had my work cut out for me. With no experience in remodeling myself, I was blessed with the help of so many friends and family living in Maui who were willing to donate their time and experience to my project. I met a lot of people, learned a lot, and had fun in the process, but it was a lot of work and stress. The two week deadline proved to be insurmountable, so I returned to Maui about a month later to finish furnishing and decorating the condo. I feel very happy with the outcome, and am thrilled to have accomplished such a goal.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There's something about Hawaii that makes me feel like I need less in life. A space that is comfortable, somewhere to sleep, eat and shower, and somewhere to store stuff. That's all I really need. For me, the space is perfect for all that is needed in Maui. I designed the interior of the condo to be charming and inspire a sense of adventure. I hope you feel inspired by the space, but mostly by the way of life in Maui.
