Hale Wailele is ideally located in the heart of Waikoloa Colony Villas by the lushly landscaped pool, spa, BBQ's, tennis court and air-conditioned gym. Our 2 bedroom/2.5 bath townhouse at 1440 sq ft (not including 2 lanais and garage) is perfect for families, couples or friends traveling together.

Gated Waikoloa Colony Villas is the best complex in exclusive Waikoloa Beach Resort, which Conde Nast Traveler rates in the 25 Top Pacific Rim Resorts. It is centrally located on the Kohala coast with the best beaches and weather on Hawaii's Big Island, not the same as Waikoloa Village, 8 miles inland.


Our villa is a contemporary expression of aloha, furnished with an island flavor in warm inviting colors. Original artwork, granite, marble, and quality, kid-friendly furniture with vintage Hawaiian print fabrics create a beautiful relaxing environment. We furnish high speed (up to 50 Mbps) Internet access, 55" Flat panel TV, VCR, DVD & CD players. On those balmy 75-degree days let ceiling fans stir the air with breezes off the ocean or use air-conditioning.

Nineteen foot ceilings in the living room, soaring windows, and unique architectural details give our Hawaiian styled townhouse a rare sense of individuality and comfort. Newly built in 2004, it is set among acres of tropical Hawaiian landscaping with over 250 palms. Waikoloa Colony Villas is the least dense complex in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Privacy is ensured with two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bath. In addition this larger unit has an extra half bath on the ground level. Absolute BEST location in the Waikoloa Colony Villas; the pool is just steps away from our lanai, and our unit overlooks the pool/lava rock waterfall, and close to the tennis court. The Big Island is a great place to vacation. There are many activities available year round, including; swimming, snorkeling, hiking, golf and tennis.

We have been traveling to Hawaii for 25 years and Kevin's condo is right up there with the best places we

have stayed! Kevin has hospitality dialed in. The condo is very well set up with high quality furnishings,

beach gear and all the extras to make less trips to the store! The pool is right out your back door.

Tennis and golf nearby. Walking and running can be done right out your door. Nearby beach

A Bay is nice in the morning and has Happy Hour at the oceanfront Lava Lava club 3-5.

Kevin's condo is a good base for travel trough out the Kona crowds!

We hated to leave and look forward our next stay!

Awesome location, awesome amenities!

Absolutely amazing stay and we loved our time at the villa. Kevin's communication was wonderful and instructions were perfect so we knew exactly where to find everything we needing including the shops and anything else about the condo. It was so nice to have space for kids to play outside and be close to the pool and tennis court. The pool is absolutely massive with a beautiful water fall and warm enough for swimming at any time day or night. We also loved the location of the condo- being close to the Hilton where we swam with sea turtles and saw the baby dolphins. The buffet breakfast at the Hilton was great too. At the condo we loved being able to make our own food in the fully equipped kitchen and much better for our family of 4 than being crammed into a hotel room like at Waikiki. Both bedrooms have a tv and also the lounge so 3 in total. We did all our food shopping at Safeway, which was great. We did day trips to waterfalls and also volcano national park where we saw laver flowing into the ocean! Once in a lifetime experience. One of the best holidays we have ever had! We will definitely be back as we loved kona and we loved staying at unit 2004 😊?👍?

Simply a perfect place for us.

We arrived after dark on Feb.19 but because of Kevin's excellent instructions, we had no issues locating the unit and accessing the lock box and appreciated the flashlight. The condo was neat and tidy and well appointed. Everything we needed was available. I found the garage parking space a bit tight but after we found the outdoor parking spot we were fine. The pool and hottub was just steps away and lovely. The outdoor and indoor dining areas were great. Cooking facilities were great. Most staples were available. Shopping at the resort was easy ...Costco was a short drive away and Waikolia village was also close with okay prices and a good food court. There were too many wonderful beaches to explore them all but our favorite was Hapuna Beach.

Great place to stay

This Waikioloa location is a nice combination of available amenities and a quiet getaway - with great choices either way. We were close to the beaches, the hotel activities and the closest to the pool of any of the units there. Since there was a waterfall there we heard falling water all day until it was turned off at nighttime. Spacious facility and very comfortable.

Fantastic Condo in Waikoloa Village

We had an excellent stay at the condo at Waikoloa Village! There were 5 of us- me, my husband, and our 3 children ages 17, 13 and 7. It was the perfect size for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. Kevin was so helpful in sending us tips for travel and places to visit. The condo was in great condition and was fully stocked with everything you could need- towels, beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. The beautiful pool was right off the lanai and was visible from most rooms in the condo which was very convenient with older kids going back and forth to the pool. It was also not at all crowded like some of the bigger resort pools are. We used the BBQs at the pool several nights for dinner. The location was good- on the sunny side of the island, only a short drive to Kona, 5 minutes from Hapuna Beach and right down the street from shopping and restaurants. The condo was a perfect home away from home for our week in Hawaii! We hope to make it back someday.
