About the property

This house is right on Garrison Square, an exclusive block that you will not find another rental on.

Garrison Woods is 5 minutes from downtown Calgary. 2 min walk from the brownstone to Starbucks, groceries and other fine shops and cafes.

An open concept comfortable 3+ bedroom awaits you and yours.

Parking:

This Townhome provides a two car garage as well as on street parking while fronting on a neighborhood park.

Rooms:

The main floor kitchen has a walk-in pantry and is fully equipped to meet any chefs' needs. The breakfast table will seat 2-4, while the dining table will seat 6 or more. There is also an island has 2 bar stools. The main level has an additional 2 piece bathroom and full size Laundry. The rear door opens onto a covered balcony with BBQ.

The living room has a gas fireplace and seating for 6-7.

Upstairs features a lovely master bedroom with en suite bathroom and television. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom currently is set up as a young girls room, but this room could be changed if required for a long term tenant. (3 months or longer)

The lower level features another bedroom, currently it has two daybeds that can be turned into kings when pulled out. The lower bathroom is a 4 piece with shower. There is also a large executive desk on this floor.

Enjoy video and TV entertainment in the lower family room which has Blueray disk player (with netflix) while enjoying the second gas fireplace.

Pets:

Contact owner to inquire further about other pets.

Service animals are allowed, with owners knowledge, without extra fee.

Children:

If you have small children: We have a Bjorn Travel crib, high chair, booster seat, infant play-mat, excersaucer and a few toys. Please indicate if you wish to have any of these in the home for your use. There are 5 playgrounds within short walking distance. (And an ice cream shop!)

Note: Returning Guests will enjoy a complementary 3rd night during their stay at either Big White Ski Chalet or Calgary Properties.

I will send entry instructions as well as house info once payment is confirmed.

My parents live up the street, they love to help out and meet guests should you need anything. I am only a 10 min drive away.

  • The master bedroom is located on the second floor. It has a king size bed, 2 side tables. The en suite has a spa shower, toilet and sink. The second room on the second floor is a versitile room. It is currently set up with a queen bed, but it can easily turn into an office or a nursery for longer term rentals. When you are booking let me know what you would like to use it as and I will set it up accordingly. The 3rd bedroom is also a queen on the second floor. A 3-piece bathroom sits at the top of the stairs, in the hall beside the second and third bedrooms. The 4th Bedroom is on the lower floor, with a 3 piece bathroom beside it. This is a great room for in-laws, guests, nanny's or older kids as it offers more privacy.

Great family friendly home!

We loved our stay in Calgary. The home owners were wonderfully accommodating of us and our children. The home is close to parks, restaurants, downtown and the main highways out of the city to the mountains.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

Our family stayed in this townhome during the Calgary Stampede. It was all we expected and more. The home and neighborhood were wonderful-beautiful,relaxing and peaceful just as Shann described it. The kitchen was so well stocked which made cooking in a delight. We suggest you look at all she has in it prior to going to the store-you will likely be surprised. The home was super clean and all the special touches were appreciated. An example was the special baby lotion and soaps for our new grandchild who was with us. Just a small thing but we knew it was placed there for just us-a true home away from home. There are many nice vacation homes out there to rent but the extra touches done for our family made this vacation home stand above the rest. Shann was very pleasant to work with and helped us with anything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The layout was great for us as we had a couple of teens who played ping pong in the basement for hours. What can we say--the home, the quiet relaxing neighborhood, the little extras that made us feel at home and our host, Shann made for a great vacation. We recommend this home to others who want something a bit more special. .
