Stunning two story with plenty of space to spread out!
Beneath the Stars is an extremely nice cabin. The rooms were clean and everything was decorated really nice. We had booked our vacation about 2 months before going. The fire hit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg the week before we were going. After a couple days I called the office to check on our cabin (per VRBO recommendation). The guy told me everything was FINE and there was no problems. He said something happened to the air conditioning, but they would have that fixed by the time we got there. We got there late on Thursday night and checked in with no problem. It was dark and we couldn't see the much around our cabin. When we opened the door to the cabin the smell of smoke would take your breath away. There was no smokey smell outside, but the inside of the cabin was like being in an ashtray. We decided to stick it out because we knew that the area needed the money. The next day when we could see outside we quickly realized that our cabin was the only one left at the top of the hill. All the other cabins around us had burned. We got out and looked around and found out why our cabin smelled so badly. The air conditioner and part of the side of the house had burned off. They had replaced the air conditioner and it worked fine, but the smell inside the house was terrible. We stuck it out, but every time you left and came back in the cabin it was terrible. When we got home we had to wash all our clothes, suitcases, jackets, and anything else we took with us. We understand the tragedy in Tennessee was a terrible thing. We just with that Outrageous Cabins had been up front with us and told us how bad the smell was. They really should have offered us another cabin, reschedule, or discount.
We loved this cabin, the view was amazing and the layout of the home was great. We got engaged while staying here and we are looking forward to spending many more visits here in the future. Next time we will bring the kids because this cabin has it all!
