Location Location Location!
You can't beat the location! You are ~5 minute walk from city market, great restaurants, and waterfront park and only ~10 minutes walk from Rainbow Row and the beautiful residential area on the battery. The place was clean and felt safe although the door did not close snuggly in the door frame so when other doors on the floor closed, ours rattled which was a little unsettling at first. Some weather stripping I think would do the trick. The apartment has everything you need including a full size fridge and beautiful patio to enjoy the evening with a nice glass of wine.
Other reviews mentioned noise complaints, which weren't a problem even though we went on a holiday weekend and there was an event on the 2nd floor on Saturday night.
Pros: Location, comfortable bed, spacious layout, nice patio, clean
Cons: Water pressure, noise when other doors opened and closed on the floor.
All and all, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely look at availability to come stay again.
Center of everything!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was right down in the thick of things. Close to the market, restaurants, and historical sites. Less than 30 minutes to the plantations and beaches. I was everything we were looking for in a VRBO. We would definitely stay again.
LOCATION! Walk to everything!
Couldn’t have been happier with the property. Walking distance to everything we did, from Battery Park and Rainbow Row, to Leon’s on North King. We only took one Uber the entire downtown stay and that was because we had a little too much fun during the day. People talking about the slow elevator are right, but it is in no way a reason you shouldn’t book the place. I know some people complained about the loud AC unit on the roof, but again, it’s a total non-issue unless you’re the world’s lightest sleeper.
There are a lot of options in downtown Charleston and this one couldn’t have been better for the price. Again, get there and never use a car. Also, the best was so comfortable.
Can’t reccoment this place enough.
Clean comfy great location
This condo was very clean bathroom was spacious plenty of room to put toiletries.
Bathtub is huge it was probably 2 feet deep so if you have issues getting in deep tubs bring a step stool. Bed was so comfy and huge also plenty of pillows and a nice ceiling fan above bed. Decent size closet with iron/ironing board . Separate door to bedroom was nice to shut for more privacy. Kitchen is fine for quick small meals or bringing back carry out not really for cooking a huge meal . Comfy small couch and lots windows in living room area. We enjoyed the restaurant below brisket was our favorite. On Sunday eve there was an event on floor below with a live band which vibrates the whole place it was from 7-10 was a little annoying but we were aware of this from other reviews and we don’t go to sleep early so it did not keep us up just loud for few hours and less privacy off of living room on terrace below we just went in bedroom shut door for more privacy. Overall it is comfy and clean ,conveniently located and fair priced and those are most important to us. Matt was easy to communicate with and the renting process was very smooth. Thank you for a great place to stay !
Matt was a pleasure to work with All information provided made our arrival and departure easy. As everyone has said, the location is ideal; close to the market, shopping on King St, major supermarket, visitor center and easy walking to all downtown restaurants and sites. One of the best restaurants in Charleston, The Fig, is literally right across the street. The unit is clean and modern, has a nice bright interior, excellent king size bed, plenty of storage space, well stocked kitchen and large bathroom. We loved having the use of the large common rooftop patio enjoying a bottle of wine every evening. Plenty of shade on hot days and sun on cooler nights. Loved this place. Thank you for the opportunity.
Location and Oasis
Fantastic location.... and a great apartment. It's well-equipped with everything you need; the bed is great; spacious apartment for two people. Great cooperation from the host. Some previous people commented about slow hot water... we did not have any problem with hot water at all.
This unique suite is located on the third floor of two historic buildings in the Heart of Historic Charleston dating back to 1850. All shopping, fine dining, entertainment and sightseeing are located only steps from the entrance of this unique property. The first floor of the building is a restaurant and the 2nd floor consists of a banquet hall which is primarily used on weekends.
