Great Location!

  • 4 of 5

The property is a classic vintage French Quarter Shotgun House with modern amenities. The location is walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, while providing some quiet - (though Friday and Saturday night you will hear people and traffic) The only issue we encountered with the property was the internet did not work, which made working a bit challenging - but overall the place was great.

Cozy Home, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This house on Toulouse worked out really well. It has a fabulous location in the heart of the French Quarter. It was very clean and furnished nicely. It really worked well for us because it was walking distance to everywhere we were planning to go. The WWII museum and the Garden District were an easy street car ride away. Would definitely stay there again.

Fun times in the French Quarter! Terrific on Toulouse!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay! Very clean! Nicely decorated and very neat and tidy when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable and all the amenities were great with a nice size and well equipped kitchen for preparing the light breakfasts and lunches before going out touring.....The A/C worked great as well... the only real problem we had was the one of 2 TV's didn't work. Hardly an issue for us 2 couples as TV was only for morning news before venturing out to see the Big Easy! The location was perfect! Only a few blocks and short walks to everything...Bourbon St, The market, Jackson Square, The water front.....street cars all were close....A Great spot! Everything was close by but also far enough away from the Bourbon party noise... lol Music was amazing... it was everywhere from all the street buskers and corner big bands to the little clubs all through the quarter.... It really was a terrific experience and a comfortable stay! We had a wonderful time and stay at Toulouse in New Orleans and would definitely come back to this little secret again!

Lots of charm and Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

Was in New Orleans with girlfriends to enjoy the first weekend of Jazz Fest. Our charming little apartment was perfect for all that we wanted to do. We really loved all the little touches too. For example, I have stayed in several VRBO's and you always have to bring hand soap - Not here!! They already had it for us. I know it is such a small thing, but it was the small things we loved. We did blow a fuse while at the house (remember these homes are old and historical) and not always designed for high powered blow dryers!! But we got a response right away and had it fixed in a jiff!! I would definitely stay here again and again!!

Cozy shotgun style home in the Heart of the French Quarter

  • 4 of 5

This was our first trip to NOLA and we are already planning our return. Three days is definitely not enough. The weather was wicked with thunder, lightening and flash flood warnings. We had a good time anyways, just missed out on exploring the Garden District.

We loved the location of this home. It's beds are comfortable and we slept well each night. I believe the big cockroaches are inevitable, if any food is left out, they will show up!

Be prepared to purchase coffee, tea, creamer, and any other necessity, we weren't lucky enough to have anything but sugar.

The bathroom is a little rough, old windows, doors, a little leaking window in living room. The TV in the bedroom didn't work, but the living room has one so it wasn't a big deal. I had hoped we could leave our bag for a few hours until our ride to the airport on the last day but we had to be out at 10:15, so schlepped luggage around the city for a few hours. The rules do say they are strict on arrival and departure times and that is the case.

We will stay in one of the hotels that are beautifully restored next time, but that's just us. I am glad for the experience of staying in this cute little place.
