Gorgeous Three bedroom, 3 bathroom sleeps 6-8. This home is located south of 30 A in the Blue Mountain Beach Community. This home is a short 5 minute walk from access to some of the most beautiful stretch of beach you will ever see. Your accommodations features an open floor plan consisting of the living room, dining, and kitchen area plus a guest Queen bedroom and hall bath. Each bedroom has French doors opening to one of the two covered balconies. Off the dining room is a patio for grilling and relaxing after a fun filled day at the beach. The master King bedroom and Queen Bedroom each with their own private bath are located on the 2nd floor. This charming beach house is great for a small family or couples. Each bedroom has its own TV with cable and DVD player. Wireless Internet provided and parking for 2 vehicles. Located on the highest point on the Gulf, just one block off of scenic Highway 30A is the beach board walk access for the Blue Mountain Beach Community. This property rents Saturday to Saturday during Peak Summer Season. This property also comes standard with 4 adult bikes provided.

Property needs TLC and a better cleaning service.
Great location but the house wasn’t freshly cleaned upon our arrival (I vacuumed the floors and furniture before unpacking). There’s a hole in the back deck and a large stack of construction wood taking up most of the patio. Kitchen/cooking utensils need to be updated (we bought a new spatula and left it there), and the bedrooms need new linens (scratchy sheets that don’t even stay on the beds). There’s a large peninsula counter in the kitchen that would easily sit 4, but there are only 2 seats. Fresh paint and updated decor would go a loooong way. We won’t stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to others.
Great place! Very nice and clean and not far from the beach! Property owner was very quick to get the bikes repaired! It's great if you're looking for a place not in the hustle and bustle this is the PERFECT place!!!!
Pet friendly is the reason why we chose sand monkey. Short walk to the beach. I have posted pictures of our stay on social media and have got 3-4 inquiries about sand monkey mainly bc it is pet friendly, before we even got home.

We loved the house! The bikes were a great addition and the 13 year old boys loved them. It was really nice that beach chairs, an umbrella and sand toys were also available. Make sure you bring paper towels, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. Only the bare minimum is supplied. (Including toilet paper and paper towels. ) Both the beach and pool are only a short distance away. And the neighborhood is great. Loved our stay and will definitely be back!
It's a nice area and cute home but it wasn't clean.
We understand that rentals get used frequently and some wear is expected. The house was not cleaned well at all, there were dead bugs on the floor, dust on every ledge, and the bathrooms were in pretty rough shape. The only yard was a sandy spot off of the deck in the back, the rest was all concrete.
The good was that you could bike/walk to the beach.
We were limited in our options due to having a pet and late booking, I wouldn't stay here again personally considering the cleanliness of the place. I recognize some things are to be expected when you stay at a rental - amenities and appliances may not be the best quality or the newest. I do expect the place to be clean and maintained, unfortunately it was not. I realize that the management company has a statement in the rental packet welcome letter stating that they expect the place to be clean and if it's not then they want the chance to correct it. We did not call we just cleaned ourselves (enough to be comfortable) so Blue Sun was not aware that we were not happy upon initial inspection. Maybe a phone call would have fixed the cleanliness issues, maybe not (we just have never been big complainers). We just wanted to share our experience...we were disappointed with the property.
