About Annette Anderson
My husband and myself moved out here to raise our kids with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor living. Now the nest is empty, and we have lots of room to share, and a empty guest house. My husband is self employed and I have been a stay at home home, running the hobby farm. We are easy going, and open minded couple. Also planning on traveling ourselves in the near future.
Annette Anderson purchased this Cabin in 2002

Nice weekend getaway
Cabin was as advertised, and had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away from home.
Wonderful cabin, great location, super hosts.
What a fantastic break we had at Eight Mile Creek. It’s a lovely, welcoming, cosy cottage in a beautiful acreage.
Loved that Annette had the fire ready for us when we arrived. And we really liked how close the cabin was to the ski hill.
Annette and Dwayne were both super hosts. And our dog adored playing with their dog Maddie.
All in all an fantastic stay.
Loved the cabin- very cosy and well set out in a quiet wilderness location with great hosts.
Cabin was warm and cosy with everything we required for our extended 3 week stay. We loved the quiet wilderness location with snowshoeing out the back door and deer often sighted from the back deck. The private hot tub on the back deck had a spectacular scenic view of Mt Begabie which capped off our days on the mountain. Any issues we encountered were quickly and efficiently remedied by our great hosts in Duane and Annette. We thank them for making this a very special part of our BC ski trip.
Quiet, Cozy, Relaxing, Beautiful
We've decided to make a trip to this cabin an annual event, and just got back from our second year trip. The view of the valley and mountains from the back deck hot tub is incredible. Annette is always lovely to deal with, stoking the fire before we arrive, and checking in on us without being at all intrusive. The place is always clean and tidy. The property is gorgeous. It's a perfect retreat from the daily grind.
Clean, respectful of the house rules, and always welcome back.
I would recommend them as guest anywhere.
Not that I want to share them.lol
Until next year.
We chose this cabin for our honeymoon as a romantic getaway, and it was a great decision! Annette was extremely friendly, the cabin was nice and cozy, and it was super quiet. This is a perfect place for two people to escape to. We walked the property, drove into Revelstoke to explore, and were able to relax in peace. I am so pleased with how well maintained everything was - very clean and well kept. The firewood was stocked, the hot water stayed hot, and the view of the mountain behind us was absolutely incredible.
Annette was a great hostess as well. At one point, a wasp flew into the cabin (it's in the woods, so not a surprise). We let her know what had happened, and went into town to get groceries. By the time we got back, the wasp was taken care of.
I highly recommend staying here. It was perfect for us, and we hope to return in the future!
Thank you for the kind words.
I wish all my clients were as easy going as the two of you were.
Thank you for leaving the cabin so tidy.I hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels.
We would love to have you back on a return visit.
