About Mike Whitty or Deborah Watkins
We are a retired couple sharing our time between our cottage in Mont Tremblant and our home in Ottawa.
Mike Whitty or Deborah Watkins purchased this Chalet in 2004
Why Mike Whitty or Deborah Watkins chose La Conception
We purchased this cottage to provide both a homey atmosphere and an exciting location for our family to share time together.

Quiet, peaceful, charming... a breath of fresh air.
Our family spent Christmas at the cottage, we could feel the generational love within every nook and cranny. The quiet pearceful charm was just what our busy family needed. Quiet nights by the wood fire playing board games and cards, a much deserved night cap followed by climbing into the most cozy and soft beds imaginable. Days were spent skating outside on the lake with an outdoor fire with no one insight, where the kids and dogs could enjoy the winter weather.
Day trips into town proved to be entertaining, cultural, and majestic.
The children will forever talk about the giant creatures that stuck their heads into our vehicle at Parc Omega, the night life in the village and dinners by the lake as a family.
We won’t talk about how mom faired trying to ski, but I for one would love to return next year to try my hand again!
Thank you so much for the hospitality, quick responses and sharing your special place with us!
The Davis Family
It doesn't get any better!
Our group of six found this well appointed chalet nestled in the trees, overlooking the tranquil lake, to be the perfect jumping-off point for our many activities in the Mont Tremblant area (hiking, biking, canoeing). After a fun-filled day out-and-about, it was pure relaxation to sit with a book on the dock at the water's edge or in the sunroom or deck of the chalet overlooking the lake. After a bonfire under the canopy of stars, we fell asleep to the hooting of an owl down the lake, and the call of loons from one of the many, crystal clear lakes in the region. I highly recommend this chalet for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
The chalet absolutely gorgeous, clean and in the perfect location!
The property is well hidden to provide a private feel in it's beautiful wooded area with magnificent view of the lake. The exterior has a great wrap around porch that is beautifully lit with steps that leads down to their dock that has chairs set for a fire at their fire pit or to just enjoy the scenery that the lake provides. The interior is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and provides great satisfaction for the onlooker. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay her and will definitely come back again. It is definitely worth the five stars!
Family home in the middle of the woods with direct access to the lake and close to Mont Tremblant and Saint-Jovite for shopping.
Beautiful house, accommodating hosts, terrific views
A cozy and beautifully furnished house, hosts were very easy to deal with and accommodating. All the essentials were provided and helpful guest book for other questions we had (including what to do when its raining, we had a great day learning duck pin bowling!) About 25 minutes to Mont Tremblant for skiing, and the grocery store is a good 20 minutes away so need to plan accordingly, but it is the secluded (unbelievably quiet) place we were looking for.
Very nice spot
We enjoyed our stayed very much. The cottage is well-appointed, and in excellent condition. Very comfortable, very quiet and secluded, which is what we wanted. Fire pit on the dock which is a nice feature. The owners are very accommodating and easy to deal with.
The chalet is located on a large private wooded lot on the edge of Lac Clement lake in the Laurentians approximately 20 to 25 minutes drive from the Mont Tremblant all season international resort.
