About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths 1950 Sq Ft Home, 2 Masters, and Lots of Sunshine!

Whether you're drinking coffee or sipping on wine, relax and take in the beauty of the beach from the cozy lookout or the spacious decks. It's about a half mile from the beach and is protected from the winds of the ocean. You'll enjoy being outside on the deck as the panoramic views and relaxing ocean sounds remind you to leave your worries for a while. Bring a touch of camping to your vacation by using the firepit on the property for gathering around the campfire to roast marshmallows and make s'mores!

Manzanita is a peaceful, quaint beach town on the beautiful Oregon coast. Located about an hour and a half drive from Portland, Oregon, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy hiking, biking, beachcombing, golfing, kayaking and just about anything else you enjoy about the great outdoors! There are wonderful shops and restaurants in Manzanita as well as in Cannon Beach, which is 15 minutes north.

An added bonus...Manzanita has a unique weather pattern that we call the 'Neah-Kah-Nie Effect'. When the forecast calls for clouds or fog, the clouds seem to stop at Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain to the north of us and at Nehalem Bay to the south and we sit in the beautiful clear skies! Oddly enough, this happens more often than not!

Relaxing & Fun Beach House

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time at this house over spring break. As others have stated, you really feel at home immediately. The house is stocked with everything you might need and the owner is so gracious and generous (we were greeted with a nice note and a basket full of goodies). Everything was clean and the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed quiet time reading and looking at the view from the "crow's nest". The kids learned to play pool here and will probably always remember it. The fire pit was wonderful on a lovely evening. All in all this is a great house for all types of Oregon coast weather.....we sat in the sun and enjoyed drinks on the deck when it was warm and we cozied up by the fire when it was cold and rainy.

Lovely Manzanita rental home!!!

  • 5 of 5

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a respite from the crowds in Manzanita or the beach. It has so many wonderful amenities (very large deck, firepit, lookout loft within the house, large fully equipped kitchen, stereo setup to connect your iPhone or iPod, and COMFY beds) and the owner was very gracious and accommodating to answering my questions before the trip. I LOVED my 9 day stay in this beautiful home and will definitely plan to go back.

Excellent!

  • 5 of 5

Upon entering this house we immediately felt at home. The house was fully equipped with anything you might possibly need. The washer/dryer and boot dryer were especially wonderful, since we had a few rainy and muddy days. The kitchen was equipped for cooking anything you'd like, we personally bought groceries on the way in from Portland at a Fred Meyer. Karen was easily and quickly accessible for our questions and needs. The only thing that I might say was a little annoying was the internet, it was just incredibly slow, however we saw it as a plus since we were able to disconnect from the outside world a little better :)

We especially enjoyed having our coffee in the morning and watching the storms come in, the fog roll out, and the swallows fly all over the neighborhood. The community was beautiful and gated, very safe. I especially recommend eating at the Big Wave restaurant which was down the street, amazing fresh food!

They also had beach chairs and tons of towels for the beach. The only reason I wanted to go home was because I missed my doggies :( I would definitely recommend staying here, however if you have anyone who has trouble with stairs I would not recommend it since the kitchen/family room/pool table are all on the second floor.

Hope to come back soon!

Fabulous home on Oregon's Majestic Coast

  • 5 of 5

WOW! Talk about relaxing! Manzanita is an adorable quaint little beach town along Oregon's Majestic coast! This beach home has it all! Big beautiful windows overlooking a huge deck with a great ocean view from one side of the house, and thick pine forest on the other. The aroma of pine trees and ocean air is delightfully intoxicating. The house is decorated beautifully, so very cozy, and spotless to say the least. It has all the amenities and a pool table too! The kitchen is big, open and a joy to cook in. It is minutes to the sweet little downtown and the best beach you could ever want to walk and walk and walk, it goes on forever. There is so much to see and do in the area, but the house is so comfortable, sometimes it was just fun to hang out and do nothing but enjoy the peace and quiet of the gated neighborhood and take in the views. We throughly enjoyed our stay and so looking forward to the next time. Thank you so much to our hosts for sharing their piece of paradise on the Spectacular Oregon Coast!!!

Amazing Home At The Beach

  • 5 of 5

When I contacted the owner of this house it was like calling Mom and asking if the beach house was open. What a warm family feeling we got from the owners.. The views are spectacular from the upper deck and lower deck..Very private with such a warm wonderful feeling of never leaving home...The house was very original in its style, you could tell it was meant for family..Open kitchen makes it great to cook and entertain at the same time.Clean beyond your wildest dreams...You really have to experience the gas fireplace in front of the Big Screen TV just kickin back enjoying life...We are coming back again with the kids as spring break is coming..Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us...It was truly amazing:):):):)

We are located near Nehalem Bay State Park which has a boat ramp for fishing and crabbing; miles of hiking and biking trails and lots of wildlife viewing. Our gated neighborhood has it's own basketball and tennis courts.

Manzanita, Oregon is a quiet, peaceful beach town located in Tillamook County on the Northern Oregon Coast.

Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain comes right down into the sea on the north end of Manzanita, bisecting the beach - with Manzanita Beach on its south side and Short Sands Beach on the north. A trail up the mountain leads to a breathtaking panoramic view of the Northern Oregon Coast and the Pacific Ocean. Manzanita is sandwiched between two beautiful state parks - Oswald West to the north and Nehalem Bay State Park on the south..

Manzanita cozies up to Manzanita Beach, which stretches for seven miles between Neahkahnie Mountain and the Nehalem Jetty where Nehalem Bay and Nehalem River meet the Pacific Ocean. If you feel up for a good walk, head south on Manzanita Beach and walk to the jetty which is usually covered with seals lounging on the rocks or fishing in the water, along with heron and egrets standing on one foot in the surf.
