The following are some of the comments we've received from past guests:

'Thanks for letting us share a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with out-of-state family in your beautifully appointed townhome. The photos on the web don't do it justice.'

'How lucky can you be? Browsing through the internet for leads, a few telephone calls, a long cross-country drive. A spot on the map became reality - Estes Park, gem of Colorado's Rockies. Then over strange streets to Blue Spruce Village and our home for one wonderful week - the D&J Victorian. It was truly a pleasant surprise to walk into such a warm and homey place. And it was immaculate!! We hate to leave, but have enjoyed every minute of our stay here and look forward to a repeat performance.'

'We had such a wonderful time in Estes Park. And we couldn't ask for a better place to stay. All the personal touches really made us feel welcome. We hope to come back in the near future. Thanks for making our time in Colorado really special. God Bless!'

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had an amazing time exploring Estes Park and RMNP. This was a very lovely place to stay and we enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the sun. We also watched elk walk through the neighborhood! This is the first of many trips to Estes Park!

Cozy, peaceful and convenient to Downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our short stay at this home! All of the rooms are a good size, it was cozy and comfortable and close enough to downtown Estes Park to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the sound of the river from the home. We were also close to the south entrance to RMNP so after a long day of hiking we could get home quickly and avoid all the traffic. This home truly exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!

Wonderful stay....and we saw bears!!

  • 4 of 5

This was a quaint home with all the amenities we needed. We had a bit of a glitch getting information from the owner/manager. We emailed a few times with questions but did not hear back. However, we were able to figure everything out on our own. The service for our mobile phones was very sketchy at the house. The VCR is on the small tv in the bedroom upstairs, so if a group wants to watch a DVD, you have to do it in the bedroom. These were a few minor things we ran into, but all in all we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was amply big for the meals that we made there. It was wonderful to enjoy wine or coffee on the front porch glide and listening to the river flow by a short distance away. It is a short walk to sit by the river. The tables by the river do appear to be available to anyone to use, but we did feel like we were sitting in the yard of the house we were by. It was fine for us as the house was unoccupied while we were there, so it was a nice leisurely sit by the river. As we got ready to check out on our last day, we looked over and there was a mother bear with her two cubs about two houses over. We watched, from a distance, as they played and had fun. It was a treat to see them so nearby.

We loved your staying in your home, it was do clean and well taken care of. It was just exactly what your ad said it was. We would definitely stay again. My only suggestion is that cookware might need to be replaced or add a small griddle to the kitchen. Overall awesome!!

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and beautiful home in a quiet peaceful location. Everything you need to enjoy your stay and feel totally at home. Very good location--just outside of Estes and close to Bear Lake and all the area attractions. I would check on air conditioning if planning on staying in July and August--maybe they put in portable air conditioners during that time? I don't know, but worth checking on. Totally enjoyed this Townhome--we were here 2nd weekend in June with amazing weather--worked out great for us!
