About Julie Craig

We came to this area with the Air Force 17 years ago, and loved it so much, we decided to stay. We're the happy parents of two sons, two daughters, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and a fabulous grandson.

Julie Craig purchased this condo in 2010

Why Julie Craig chose Idaho

We purchased this property close to work so we could come and enjoy the gorgeous Spokane River and Lake Coeur d'Alene. This condo is only 20 minutes from our home, but it always feels like we've gone on vacation when we stay here. We hope you enjoy it, too.

What makes this condo unique

This property is centrally located to all that Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho have to offer

Great location

  • 3 of 5

Beautiful view on river. Minor issues with plumbing: bathtub doesn't drain well. Rain shower head works poorly. 2nd bedroom needs more lighting besides the ceiling fan (which is filthy) tv instructions/Chanel guide would be useful. Cobwebs on patio

Owner's Response: I hope your husband had a great Ironman experience! I'm sorry there were issues at the condo- I really try to keep up on things. This is our family vacation home we bring our kids to, so we do always hope our guests feel at home. I live nearby, so I really am just a phone call away.

Great condo!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful view, modern and spacious condo, very well appointed and clean. Very kid friendly. We especially loved the vintage photos of the lake! The recommendations for restaurants and vendors were wonderful and spot-on.

My only gripe (and it is mostly semantics and in part our fault for not following through by asking) is that it's not quite "central to everything." Based on that description, we were under the impression that it would be closer and possibly walkable to downtown Coeur d'Alene. As it was, it wasn't far (about 2 miles), but given the busy road it wasn't quite walkable and it didn't feel exactly central vis a vis the town.

However, if we are ever back in the area we would consider renting here again and would recommend this condo to others. Thanks!

PS: What would REALLY be amazing (and set you apart from other rentals) would be if you offered kids' bikes as part of your rental. We had hoped to rent bikes in town and had a hard time finding any that were under 24 inches (too big for our 5 year old).

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed our condo! I think storing some children's bikes is a great idea. I will be looking into that. I can see the confusion with our description being "central to everything." We have always thought of the greater Northern Idaho/Eastern Washington region, being situated in the Riverstone District of Coeur d'Alene. We have easy access to the water, to downtown, Silverwood theme park and the Centennial trail. Not to mention our area parks and lakes. I'm sorry for the confusion with that. I'll make a note of that on our web page. I hope you do come again to our beautiful city! Sincerely, Julie

Great in every way

  • 5 of 5

What can I say that hasn't been said in other reviews. The condo is well situated, well equipped, close to downtown and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Not to mention the view of the river is great. It has everything you need and more. We were 4 adults and were very comfortable. Make sure you check out the restaurants close by.

Julie and Chris were very helpful and were available for questions.

This was our first VRBO experience and I can only hope that any future VRBO rentals can come close to this one.
