Fantastic holiday, perfect accommodation!

  • 5 of 5

Great accommodation with large bed, clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen and quality wifi!

Spent the week biking, walking and swimming. Lots of information for this in the flat or great extra advice in local tourist info.

Local shops larger than expected and plenty option for eating out too.

Particularly enjoyed the sun on the garden all through the day so that we could eat in the garden after a long day in the hills.

Local transport was value and reliable. If traveling to Salzburg airport then bus 2 from the airport to the train station, then bus 151 from there to strobl.

Surrounding villages worth a visit too.

Hope the weather is as good for you ;)

We will be back!

A lovely place!

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully finished flat, with all modern conveniences. We appreciated the comfort of the super king size bed! Spotless bathroom with a great shower. We enjoyed meals out in Strobl as well as home-made food: the Adeg and Spar stores are excellent: don't miss the fresh roasted chickens outside the Spar each Thursday lunchtime :-)

Our holiday would have been better if we had got our travel arrangements right. If you plan to visit, (which is a good idea) don't be tempted to go for a quick transition in Frankfurt, because there is no such thing! Pick a direct flight, or relaxed rail/air connections.

We enjoyed our stay in the Alpine Garden Suite very much. It was clean with wonderful amenities including a bottle of welcome wine. The location is wonderful for hiking and exploring the Salzkammergut. If we return to Austria we will stay here again. Bravo.

A True Austrian Experience, Close to Salzburg, Hallstatt and Centrally Located to Everything.

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky to spend two weeks in this rental. A very clean and spacious apartment, well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable, quiet and safe. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. You may need a car to get around the whole area, however the bus service is very reliable and easy to use. We had our road bikes and enjoyed perfect roads, many bike paths, kind drivers, stunning views and amazing days of cycling. Keep an eye on the Mountain weather.

The Owners were amazing, providing us with information on getting around.

Life in Strobl is very addictive and we will return to this rental for more clean air, beauty, peace and quiet.

Simply perfect

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Alpine Garden Suite was simply amazing. The suite offers all amenities that you need while traveling: washing machine, kitchen, wifi, and even a TV with DVD for rainy nights. It's also very located, only 2 minutes by foot from the beach and 5 from the central place of the village. Strobl is very nice and relaxing, as tourists seem to be there for many days, unlike Wolfgang where many buses drop tourists for a few hours and leave. Juliet and her husband were very kind and kept us posted on the different activities going on in the region. I could not recommend this place more !

Clean and lovely apartment in a beautiful place

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week at the apartment was it was great. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped with modern bathroom and kitchen. We are a family of 4 people including 2 small children, but it was large enough for us. The owner was very friendly, and the booklet found in the room was very helpful to let us decide where to go and eat.

It was our second time to visit Salzkammergut. It is a beautiful place and our kids loved riding on the ferry, cable car and the Schafbergbahn. Strobl is a quiet village compared to St Wolfgang but we felt it was very comfortable place to stay. You can easily walk in the town to shop and eat, or take a ferry or bus to visit other places. We also drove to Gosausee where you can go up to the mountain using the cable car. It was very nice for our family because we could enjoy hiking on the beautiful trail with our children using a off-road stroller which you can rent for free.
