Fly Fish Out the Back Door, Tranquil Luxury Cabin 10 Min from Town.

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,650 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Hot Tub Next To River, 15 Min From Downtown Bozeman

The River Bend is a long time favorite rental, once people visit they tend to come back. The minimum rental time is 8 nights but we only charge you for a week, so the last night is free!

With 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, the River Bend Cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. You'll be surrounded by five acres of riverfront property on the Gallatin River, including a large grassy area which fronts 300 feet of the famous river. The cabin is located 15 minutes from the Bozeman Airport, downtown Bozeman, and Montana State University. Bozeman Hot Springs is around the corner and Cottonwood Golf Course is just down the road. Easy access to Highway 191- for trips to Gallatin National Forest hiking trails, Big Sky and Yellowstone Park. Approximately 45 minutes to either Big Sky or Bridger Bowl Ski areas.

This 1650 square foot cabin has been fully remodeled including new wood floors and much of the original 1920's era log walls were preserved and add great color to the interior. The cabin is very well insulated to keep it cool in summer, and has forced air heat and a gas fireplace for those colder times of the calendar.

The second floor master bedroom suite with riverside deck has a 180-degree view of the river (queen bed, tub/shower).

The other queen bedroom is on the main floor, as is the bedroom with 2 extra-long twin beds.

Pets are permitted with a $50 fee per pet and agreement to our pet rules.

The 6-bedroom Lucky Dog Lodge is 2 doors down, so this rental makes for great overflow lodging when both houses are rented together.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We have been coming to the Bozeman/Livingston area for more than 15 years and this is the most comfortable and accessible spot to stay that we have found. Beautifully appointed. Gracious living in MT!

We’ll be back!

Ski Trip

This place was great! Had 5 staying and had plenty of room. Beautiful river flow next to house. The place was very clean and enjoyable. Everything was there that we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. Will definitely stay here again. Would love to come back in Spring. Not far from Bridger Bowl/Big Sky

My wife and I have been coming to Montana for 27 years, River Bend Cabin has been one of our favorite places to rent. We love being on the river and having close proximity to good eating, shopping and a good location to make day trips from.

Fishermans paradise

Even with 3 days of rain (which is not typical for this area) the trout were still plentiful. Plenty of riffles and eddy's to fish right out back. The cabin was very clean and comfortable with lots of character of the old log structure that was remodeled. The view of the river and the peaks to the south from the master deck are amazing! Also, cabin has two side decks that are great for hanging outdoors to view wildlife and the river. We had a slight problem with the operation of the fireplace, so I called Marissa (our contact for management) and she called me right back and we resolved it. When you're in an unfamiliar place on vacation and you have a problem, it's great to know you have someone that will take care of it quickly. The location is perfect, just minutes from the Bozeman historic district with great dining and lots of shops. We would definitely stay there again.

I was concerned when I first turned into Lower Rainbow Rd and the drive to the cabin had me second guessing my choice, but once at the cabin I was very impressed with the privacy and the river access. The cabin is roomy and I enjoyed the decorations. I enjoyed seeing the Bob-Bet Bait Box as I also have one. Fishing the river requires some rock walking but we did catch trout in the main run along the cabin and upriver. Saw deer several time and eagles along the river. Our 3rd trip to Bozeman to see family and it was the best cabin we ever stayed in.
