2 Story Home, 6 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath, 14 Sleeps, Two Family Rooms
Lynn and I have been natives to Columbia Falls Montana all of our lives. I was born and raised here on our homestead and Lynn moved here when he was 4 years old. We enjoy the outdoors and horse back riding in the Bob Marshall. We and our children built our home as a family which made memories for all of us working as a team creating everlasting memories and work ethics. Which, now that they are on their own thank us for all of the things they were taught. Family is what we want this vacation home to be - for all ages. four zero six eight nine two zero two six one

Why Joan chose Columbia Falls
Staying with us you will have no neighbors as you are surrounded by forest service. Cedar Creek runs year round for the relaxing sound, along with a horseshoe & fire pit. four zero six eight nine two zero two six one
What makes this House unique
Sitting on the front porch hearing Cedar Creek either from the rocking chairs on porch or the hot tub is soothing! At night the stars are abundant and the moon is close on a clear night. On hot summer days the porch is always the right temperature to enjoy the outdoors. The home has central air conditioning so all is comfortable at all times.

Columbia Falls/Glacier West Getaway
My group of 6 couples used Joan's vrbo for our yearly get-together. It was a perfect spot for a Glacier vacation. The open floor plan provided great space for hanging out. We made plenty of use of the deck and hot tub, too. The huge wall of windows looking out to the river provided us with glimpses of wildlife. The bedrooms were comfortable and the master with its lovely en suite was a touch of unexpected luxury. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. There are horses and a dog on the property which will follow you around if you feed them. Everything was great!
Great Host, Amazing Home
The hosts are very special people, worth making the trip just to meet them. And the home is breathtaking.
Great location, wonderful cabin
We stayed here as a home base for a guys trip to Glacier for some hiking and fly fishing, and it was perfect. Loved the open floor plan, well stocked kitchen with huge counter, and the overall cleanliness. It seemed brand new even though the first book indicated its been in existence for at least a few years. Everything went seamlessly with the rental, and I highly recommend it.
Beautiful property and friendly owners. It was about a 30 minute drive to the west entrance. It was a refreshing place to recharge after a long day in the park. We enjoyed learning the beauty of Apgar. Recommend eating at Eddies in the Apgar Village. Also eating at Loulas in Whitefish was awesome. 14 pies to choose from. Shopping was nice too.
Three Family Vacation in Glacier
We had 3 families vacation together at Lynn and Joan’s custom built beautiful home, and it exceeded our expectations. If you read the prior reviews you will get more detail on the home and accommodations, so I will focus on the actual experience we had. From the moment we arrived, Joan greeted us and did a walk through. She communicated quickly and answered all of our questions before we arrived, and was very attentive to what we needed during our stay. It is clear they are focused on the details. Throughout the home there are surprises that show how much thought went into making the home comfortable. This was our first trip to Glacier, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Whether you just drive the road to the sun or get off the beaten path and hike the back trails, you will be amazed at the views and wildlife. We used curbside pick-up at Wal-Mart on the way in, and it made the grocery process much easier. Thank you for a great stay and for your hospitality.
A perfect place to stay for families traveling together
We traveled to Glacier with 3 other families and this was the perfect vacation rental. Joan was kind and thoughtful with her tour and letting us drop off a refrigerated item before check in time.
We were able to all be comfortable, eat dinner together, and relax. The communal spaces were great and away from the bedrooms so the kids could go to sleep while the grownups chatted. The hot tub was a lovely treat and the kids enjoyed playing down in the creek with the hosts' dog, Brick. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is traveling with kiddos. We fit 8 adults and 7 kids in comfortably with no one on sofas. :) We just had one family who had to share a bed with a kiddo. Highly recommend!
No neighbors in this secluded location just 5 miles outside Columbia Falls. On a clear night the stars are abundant and the moon is bright. Close to Glacier National Park's West entrance, North Fork River for rafting or fishing, mountains for hiking, hunting, cross country skiing & snowmobiling. Summer is full of opportunities which ever way you turn off of the property. There are raft companies that will give you a guided tour or there are rafts you can rent to float the river by yourself. Floating the river by yourself is 15 minutes from our home. Guided horseback rides are available on the way to Glacier National Park or in Glacier National Park. Fishing equipment is available locally along with recommended poles and bait. Fishing on the river is right up the road. Hiking is available right from the property or very close for your pleasure. In the winter there is a local snow mobile company that will gear you us, pick you up, ride 1/2 day or full day on the backside of Big Mountain and then drop you off which is one mile from us. The local butcher shop, Perfect Cuts, in town that cuts meat daily, has it all is 10 minutes from us for all of your needs.
