This 5 bedroom home can become 6 if you add the Sweet Nirvana Guest House to your booking. ( Added fee). Easy to excite for all types of gatherings, our floor to ceiling windows and breathtaking views are superlative for the indoor/outdoor experience!
We are a stones throw from 25 wine tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping and a plythora of healthy festivities! Guests often attend weddings at Carmel Valley Ranch, Holly Farm, Folktale Winery, Bernardus Winery, Holman Ranch, Carmel Beach ect. We are centrally located less than 5 miles from Ocean Avenue, downtown Carmel and 5 minutes to Bernardus Winery and Holman Ranch. Hawks Nest Nirvana Villa is the ideal location.
The main house dining table seats 10-12 with additional seating at counter surrounding kitchen. There are seating options of both bench and fixed cushioned chairs. The stainless kitchen and custom built-ins are great for cooking parties and feasting. A KEURIG HOT and regular coffee maker enhance the morning kitchen necessities.
The fireplaces and color scheme add to the romantic ambiance and with 4500 square feet when you add the guest house, it can be the ideal 6 bedroom escape from cookie cutter norm.
Four bedrooms adorn the main floor and a fifth bedroom is set below the Sweet Nirvana Guest House. Important to note the fifth bedroom is on lowest level of home down stairs away from main house and feels like a third master. It has steep stairs and not recommended for children under 10 or elderly. If you need 6 bedrooms, you must book the Sweet Nirvana Guest House in addition to main house to have sleeping location options for all. Both the guest house and fifth bedroom have their own full bathrooms, private decks and separate path to the hot tub making them ideal for the full property experience. The guest house will only be available to you and not be booked to people outside your group.

Motion sensor lights are plentiful as are solar fairy lights in addition to 10 stocked flashlights at front door of main house for guests to utilize this entire property. Additional flashlights and batteries are stocked in kitchen center drawer. Lables are plentiful everywhere as you will discover on this plush property.
Triangular two person Jacuzzi bath/shower in master bathroom and a six person spa outside with two outdoor showers add to the experience. You can see the hot tub from main deck and bbq to keep an eye on children.
We love our home with our wine and marguerita sunset views. We do require a low profile while on property and no loud music outside after 10pm. Not everyone can carry a tune like Rhianna or Luciano Pavarotti, so respect our neighbors down the canyon.
We support our schools and educators! Stanford University often holds small group seminars and off campus workshops in our 1400 square foot Sweet Nirvana Guest House. We offer this space free ( Mid week only ) to higher education learning centers when they book our Hawks Nest Nirvana Villa property. The space has 14' foot ceilings, a 16' x 34' foot livingroom and is wonderful for making presentations.

“Our extended family (four couples plus teens and grandparents) had a wonderful time at Hawk's Nest Nirvana. There's a terrific view of the nearby mountains and forest from the deck with woodpeckers and blue jays feeding at the bird feeder in the mornings and afternoons. The bedrooms are roomy, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. One family with two kids stayed in the Sweet Nirvana Guest House (below the main house), which they loved. The common area is quite nice as we could all eat and watch TV together at night. Weather-wise it was warmer than in Carmel, and at night the fire-pit on the deck kept it toasty. The large barbecue came in handy for quick meals. And Thyme was very responsive to all our queries via text or phone. We would definitely consider staying there again if we return next year.”

Because of the properties unique design, it feels very private, even from main house to guest house. Please be aware of parking in an organized fashion by not blocking garage breezeways from foot traffic. Eight parking spaces have been provided for your stay: three on the left at green markers and five tandem parking tandem along cement retaining wall to garage. Two cars may fit into garage breezeway where a EV charger is located. This way all cars can enter and exit parking area easily.
We ask guests to respect our neighbors privacy by not flying drones and leaving a zero environmental footprint. We also request not playing loud music after 10pm on outside deck. Not everyone can sing like Rhianna and Luciano Pavarotti. We do not do weddings nor big parties here, but definitely intimate gatherings with precious family, dearest friends and wonderful groups.
