Welcome to Paradise!Casa Peggy is located in the Heart of Bucerias, just 60 feet from the sandy beaches and Two short blocks from the Zocolo(main square),where you can shop for groceries, dally at the flea market, visit the quaint little church,or dine at one of many fine restaurants.
Enter the main house through the gated entry, which has secure covered parking. The first floor contains a newly decorated living/dining area with large fully equipped kitchen and a 1/2 bath.Ascend the circular staircase to the master suite, with walkin closet, large bath and balconies, one overlooks the pool area, the other overlooks the Bay, where you can watch the whales and dolphins at play, or just relax, sipping Margaritas as the sun melts into the ocean, turning the sky a gorgeous watermelon pink!
The pool area is secluded by high walls and has tables and chairs for alfresco dining and a gas barbeque, if you care to grill the catch of the day, purchased from the fisherman along the beach. We have plenty of pool friendly glasses and dishes to enjoy poolside refreshments.
The Casita,a romantic little studio at the rear of the pool, has its own Kitchen, with dining for 2, a Kingsize bed, large bath and plenty of closet space. Can be rented on its own or in combination with the main house.
Bucerias is a magical little town, reminicent of Puerto Vallarta in its early days, with beautiful beaches and friendly neighbors, come and visit our 'little piece of Heaven on Earth' we know you'll fall in love with it as easily as we did!

I'm still trying to catch up with all of the laundry and putting things away.
Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful house! We had a really good time and the location of the house was wonderful. Our son James, the one who had been there before, spent a great deal of time in the ocean and in the pool. His fiance had never played in the waves before and he helped her get out in it, and she had a wonderful time, too. We went on a couple of different outings; zip lines, horseback riding, a boat trip to Los Arcos and Las Animas, and we all came back sunburned and exhausted. We spent a great deal of money at the market and in various restaurants (I told my husband before we left that this was my vacation too so I wasn't going to do any cooking, and I stuck to it) so we helped the local economy a little. We were very impressed by a guy named Romero who had his shop in the next block north who arranged all of our outings for us. Not the least bit pushy, not affiliated with a time share, and just very enjoyable to talk with. We gave him all of our left over food when we left. We made the housekeeper a little mad when we told her this because she likes to keep whatever is left in the fridge. We didn't know, thought you might want to put a note on the fridge about that to let other people know. Or not.
The house was just the right size, and except for not having air conditioning, it was quite comfortable for the six of us. The ceiling fans made all the difference in the world. My husband and I took the pool house and the kids stayed in the house. Our youngest son slept in just about every corner of the house over the course of the week. The first night on the hammock, the next night next to the pool, on the floor in the upstairs bedroom, on the floor downstairs, you name it, he slept there. Not quite sure why, but he's kind of an interesting kid anyway. I don't know if we will ever return to Bucerias but if we do we will surely keep Casa Peggy in mind, that is, if you are still renting it out. Thank you again for letting us share your home.

So happy we had the opportunity to rent your wonderful little casita, and to meet you Linda. Had great time, met great people. Beautiful central location, walking distance to great restaurants, buses, taxis, and anything else we could need. Enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the rooftop palapa - even spotted planet Venus in the night sky! BBQ great to have. Cooked up some nice meals by the pool. And the beach...and the margaritas... Thanks, we had a great month!
Our family just returned from our stay at Casa Peggy. It was our second time to Bucerias this year, but first time at Casa Peggy, we will return!!! We loved the location, it was extremely easy to get anything you could want, and the beach access just across the street was great. The house was extremely private and very comfortable. The kids LOVED the pool, and commented that of all the houses we have rented over the years, casa Peggy felt the most like home! The kitchen had everything you could need, including a few basic condiments/spices, after staying at places without them we were really pleased.
Thanks for sharing your house Linda, and thanks again for answering all of my questions before we arrived, you were extremely helpful and patient!!!! Can't wait to return.
This is the second time that we have stayed at Casa Peggy. We loved the roof top palapa for early morning coffee and watching the sunset. It's closeness to the beach was a plus and of course it was so easy to walk quickly to where ever you wanted to be--restaurants, laundry, shopping. You really feel part of the community when you live at Casa Peggy.
BUT here's the problem. Both times that we have been there the casita's hot water tank and toilet have not worked without a lot of fussing. It was very embarrassing for us to invite guests down and then have them unable to use their shower or toilet. Phoning the caretaker just didn't seem to help. He is holding the place together with slapdash repairs instead of fixing or replacing things.
Do bring earplugs. The nightclubs and restaurants on Mexico Ave. resound into the building and play until 1:30a.m. except of course on Fri & Sat when the Mexican club opens its doors. That band plays until 5:30a.m. You get use to it but be warned.
thanks for sharing your wonderful home Linda..we loved every minute. It was a great month adventure and can hardly wait to repeat it!They say location is everything--then casa peggy is everything-right in the middle of all the action. We just love Bucerias and all its people! Thanks again for a great month.penni
We found Casa Peggy a delightful place to stay. The location is great. We have been to Bucerias many times, in fact we plan to retire there in the near future. Casa Peggy was by far our best rental experience. We enjoyed being able to have our dog there. Bucerias is a very pet friendly town, but not all lodging is. It was also nice being just across the street from the playa and some of our favorite restaurants. Casa Peggy is very private and secure. We will be staying there again.
Casa Peggy is absolutely lovely and in such a great location. Caretaker Crispin was fantastic as well and very helpful. We loved Bucerias and will definitely return. We would definitely rent Casa Peggy again.
