This cottage is part of the Methodist Circle Association which is comprised of sixteen cottages that were built in the late 1880's. The association members and their guests enjoy 220' of private shoreline with a sandy bottom swim area. Also available are two docks for sun bathing and a swim raft just off shore. Included with this cottage is a private boat slip that will accommodate a 22' boat or two jet skis. This cottage is 5 minutes or less walking distance to Weirs Beach Boardwalk.
We just recently stayed in this lovely home in Weirs Beach. The house was full of amenities that a family would appreciate. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and a gas grill. My teenagers loved the free access to the Wi-Fi. The boat slip was well built and easily accessed. The boardwalk was just a block or so away. The home was clean and I felt safe in the neighborhood. My family will certainly consider renting this home again next summer.
Nicest looking cottage in Methodist circle. Very well maintained, clean, with all the comforts of home. Perfect location close to town, but not too close. When you relax at the private swimming area you would never know that town is only a two minute walk. You get the best of both worlds all the excitement of Weirs Beach and the peace and quiet of a cozy cottage on the water.
We spent a lot of time at the private swimming area. Our two young children loved the water and swimming out to the raft and playing in the sandbox. There were other young children to play with too, which was very exciting and fun for them.
We also did some fishing off the T-Dock, enjoyed a couple awesome sunsets, and watched someone's private fireworks display from the balcony of the cottage one evening too.
Overall we had a great week, enjoyed all the amenities of the cottage, explored many of the local area attractions, and even had time to relax too. I highly recommend 30 Methodist Circle to anyone, and will most definitely plan another vacation there next year.
First off, I will say the set up of the house is very nice. Now with that being said, two of the upstairs bedrooms have a strong smell of urine. And the sandy bottom swim area they speak of is difficult to get into and is not enjoyable. If you have a boat, be aware that the dock is extremely tricky to get in and out of. There are large rocks by the docks that the owners failed to tell us about, which would have been nice of them to let us know. Also make sure you are out of the house at exactly 10am or before as these owners have zero tolerance for mishaps. There are neighbors who are watching your every move and security cameras in place that the owners do not tell you about. They will be looking for any small violation to keep the security deposit. If you are considering this property I would look elsewhere first.
Methodist Circle is in the heart of Weirs Beach. Most of Weirs beach attractions are 5 minutes or less walking distance.
Weirs Beach itself is flanked by a boardwalk lined with plenty of arcades, places to eat, and various activities. There are restrooms, and the Weirs is central to most other area attractions. Some Friday nights during the summer there are fireworks at 10pm. The rain date is the following night. The beach is wide and sandy, and stays pretty shallow out a good ways making is good for water games. Take a ride aboard the Sophie C, which is a U.S. mail boat. The boat departs from Weirs Beach, and is a sister vessel of the Mount Washington. The Sophie C is quite different than its big brother the Mount. It's lower to the water and much smaller, therefore it tends to rock slightly with the waves and just feels less like a cruise and more like a boat ride. It winds around the islands of Lake Winnipesaukee to deliver mail, and it even sells ice cream on board. It's typically more interesting for children.

If it's warm, there is a small water park right at the Weirs which you probably noticed if you've been down there. They are the Weirs Beach Water Slides. They are located right at the corner of Lakeside Ave and route 3, right at the Weirs Beach sign.
Funspot is about one mile north of Weirs Beach on route 3 and is an establishment you can't miss it. It is an absolutely humongous arcade with games of every type and variety imaginable. There is truly something for every age at Funspot. Mini-golf, driving range, indoor golf center, blowing alley, ropes course, cash bingo, a tavern and more. Funspot is currently the largest arcade in the world.
If you head up route 11b from its intersection with route three, you'll see the Daytona Fun Park. They offer go karts, batting cages, a climbing wall, bumper boats, a bungee thingy and another mini golf course. There is also another go-kart track across the street from Funspot.
