About Jim Eppert
The first time I came to Key West in 1984 I was captured. I immediately knew I wanted to live here. I started looking and in 1990 I was lucky enough to buy this property. It was love at first sight.
Jim Eppert purchased this Cottage in 1990
Why Jim Eppert chose Old Town
The large pool, the large (by Key West standards) yard for gardens and landscaping, the beautiful untouched cypress wood exterior, the relative isolation and privacy.
What makes this Cottage unique
In the center of Old Town. In the middle of all the action. But quiet, secluded, private. The openness of the kitchen, dining and living area - extending the entire length of the house. The beautiful staircase. The Dade County pine walls. The palms, bougainvilleas, sea grape, mango, mahogany, vines, flowers.

Family Key West Vacation
We are family of six (4 children ages 20-12). This place was perfect for our Key West family vacation. The location is ideal. Walking distance to everywhere in Key West. We parked the car one block away for free and did not move it the entire week. The cottage is in a beautiful and very safe residential street, but tucked behind another house so it was so quiet and peaceful by the huge pool. There was plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen is fully stocked so we made a few meals at the cottage. We stay at VRBOs frequently. The kids (and parents) agree that this cottage was their favorite.
Heart of Old Town Key West. 4 blocks to Duval, 3 blocks to KW Bight Marina, 1.5 blocks to Historic Cemetery. Bars, restaurants, sights w/n walking distance.
