Location - this beautiful property, situated in a gated community is within walking distance of every delight and necessity. Located just 1.5 miles from the Street Fair at COD; .5 mile to Starbucks, the grocery store, cleaners, restaurants and Bristol Farms; and only 3 miles to the River or El Paseo - you'll enjoy and appreciate this ideal location. Built in 2002, this home has been meticulously furnished and cared for by the original owners.

In 2013, the home was fully refurbished including new carpet; paint; soft goods in all bedrooms; pool tile and deck and all mechanical. It is designed to be enjoyed by a family, with a spacious kitchen and great room area. This is our home for a portion of the year and we make every effort to keep the house in perfect condition. We ask the same consideration from our renters. No smoking or pets allowed. The main house features three bedrooms; a dining room that seats 8; a large family room with built-in bar and entertainment area (50' TV);a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and large cooking island; and breakfast area that seats 4. The spacious bedrooms in the main house include a Master Bedroom/Master Bath (California King bed) with direct access to the pool area; Guest Suite and bath (California King bed); and an Office/Bedroom combination with high quality twin trundle beds. There is a detached casita that offers additional privacy and includes a queen size bed and private bath.

All bedrooms feature high quality bedding; new furniture; ceiling fans; color TVs and their own bathrooms*(*with the exception of the office/bedroom combination). The house and grounds feature wireless internet service and includes a high speed DSL computer with printer and fax machine available for use.

The large laundry room features a full size washer and dryer, ironing board and supplies. There are ample linens and towels for you to use during your stay.

The house is fully air conditioned with two independent systems. Ceiling fans are located in every room, providing a perfect balance to the temperature both inside and out. Disappearing screen doors are installed at the front door, family room door and master bedroom door to provide a fresh air option on days when the weather is mild.

The outdoor area is an entertainer's delight with a large built-in bar/barbecue island; (2) shade umbrellas; outdoor living room arrangement situated in a covered patio; al fresco dining for 6; lounge furniture around the pool; pool floats and toys; and a fire ring. Full length outdoor drapes provide additional protection from the sun, wind or chill - whatever your need might be.

The full size, salt water pool and jacuzzi, with high impact night lighting provides the perfect setting to enjoy the mountain views and surroundings. The gardens have been professionally landscaped and desert landscape, tropical plants, palm and citrus trees.

About Owner/Property Manager

This is our second private residence in the desert. Before, we had a 3 bedroom condo in Desert Falls Country Club. With the arrival of our grandchildren, we wanted a larger family home where we could all be together. 15 years and 4 granddaughters later, we remain delighted with our decision.

This location is amazing! After maintaining a vacation home in this area for 10 years, we were clear where we wanted to be. This was a new development at the time we were looking and it was perfect in every way. Great location, value and neighborhood.

What makes this house unique

We are located in the middle of the desert communities with every service and convenience close by. We can walk to Starbucks, Albertsons, the cleaners and the nail shop. Nothing is better than walking to Golden Spoon at night and getting a yogurt. We believe the walk cancels the calories. Within 3 miles we have shopping, theaters and great restaurants

First Class

This year was our 4th visit to Terry's home during the boys annual golf tour. From the first visit to our most recent the property has been first class with all the amenities on site and nearby. On future trips to the valley Terry's property will be first choice for friends and family.

Stunning Home

Our stay at this property was a girls trip to Palm Springs. The owner, Terry, met us at the home and explained how everything worked. The owners also leave lots of helpful info for their guests. This home is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Location is close to lots of shopping, hiking, and great restaurants. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight. We never went out to dinner as we thoroughly enjoyed cooking in and eating out on the patio, time in the Jacuzzi, and lots of girl talk. The home is stocked with everything you need, so just bring your suitcase. I will reiterate what all the other reviewers commented, but also add that the setting is very quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic - Loved it!

Our family of four enjoyed the use of this property for a week. The house met all of our expectations and then some. The house was very clean and was well stocked - from kitchen pantry items to dishes and linens. The backyard was perfect for the summer, shade or sun was always available. The BBQ was nice. We really liked the location right at the border of Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert and close to all amenities. The owners are great to work with and even came to meet us at the house to make sure we new how to use all the amenities. We will definitely try to book this house again.

Wow! Now that was a luxurious, relaxing weekend in a stellar property that had everything right there and ready to enjoy. Need a corkscrew, nut cracker, swanky dishes and beautiful bar glasses and tableware-presto it was there. Such hospitality too. The owner was there to explain everything like the automated Jacuzzi, pool heater, outdoor speakers for music and lots of TV options. If you are deciding between this and another property; don't hesitate. I like to do business with wonderful people. And Terry and his family donated our stay as part of a silent auction fundraiser promoting art in schools for kid's who wouldn't get an art education otherwise. We bid on the getaway and won. Now, we'll be "paying guests" for years to come. Run don't walk for this staycation! We live in San Diego and the short drive meant we had more time to enjoy the house and the sights. Terry, thanks so much for your generosity to Art Reach.
