This newly remodeled and redecorated beachfront condo must be seen to be believed! A 5th floor 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit that is perfect for multiple families or an extended family. Enjoy tile floors, designer furnishings, spa like master bath with double vanity sinks and walk-in shower, stainless steel appliances and much more. Adults and children alike will be at home in the spacious living area with a dining table for six, bar area that accommodates four, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large sitting area. From the living room you can either enjoy the panoramic ocean view or a blu-ray DVD on the 50' flat screen HDTV. At night, adults can retreat to the privacy of their luxury King and Queen bedrooms with 32' flat screen HDTVs, while the children enjoy the 2 sets of bunk beds in the 'bunk bed' room. In this condo, there is no need for anyone to sleep on a pull out couch! (There is one though, if it is needed.)
The Saida complex is a gated community with lots of amenities. You can explore the sand and surf, the 3 pools, hot tubs, shuffle board and tennis courts. Bring your own equipment or rent onsite for a nominal fee. There is also a seasonal poolside bar with kid friendly snacks. If you want a break from the beach, some of our favorite outings are to the Turtle Rescue Center, the Birding Center, bay fishing and the lighthouse in Port Isabelle. There are also lots of great reasonable priced restaurants. Locals love Manual's (cash only & closed on Monday) or Cafe Isabel for breakfast and Marcello's, Pirate's Landing or Dirty Al's for lunch or dinner.

Great place to spend time with family
The apartment is very clean, attractive, and welcoming, and is represented very accurately by the pictures on VRBO. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, plate-ware, and utensils. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets and dressers. The master bathroom is updated, with plenty of hot water on demand. The kitchen, living room, and dining areas are open concept, and we had plenty of space and seating to entertain visiting family members from other units. The balcony is quite large, with a gorgeous view and lots of room to move around. The property itself is located right off the main strip and right on the beach. It is close to plenty of shops and restaurants. The four hot tubs were a godsend while we were there because the weather was unexpectedly cold for 5 of the 7 days of our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we had the concern our first night of having no linens or blankets for the pull-out couch, the owner, Lori, responded and had a cleaning service bring over blankets and sheets within an hour. We only had two issues while on South Padre. The VRBO ad stated "washing machine" and "clothes dryer", so we assumed there were going to be laundry facilities in the unit. It turned out that communal, coin-operated washing machines were available in a room outside the front door. It wasn't a huge deal, but there's something nice about being able to leave your clothes in the washer or dryer and walk away while on vacation. Also, the ad would generally say, "Coin-operated laundry facilities on property" or something like that if they aren't actually in the unit. The other issue doesn't have to do with the owner or the unit, and is more of a heads up to anyone visiting from outside the area. The only way to recycle anything on the island is to wait until Saturday and drive everything way north on the strip to a trailer that shows up that day. Same thing on Port Isabel. If you aren't staying until Saturday, there really is no option but to trash everything. All in all, a 5-star place to stay with a few details to be aware of.

It was a wonderful stay
The condo has a great view to the sea. This place is neat and has lot of utensils for mid-size family to cook. Beds are comfortable to sleep. only one bedroom's bed had some sound.
Very spacious and the view is wonderful .. definitely not will be coming back .
Great condo, had everything we needed for 2 family vacation. (4 adults and 4 children).
This place is safe (gated with 24 hr security guard) updated, clean and had everything needed as far as electronics, appliances, utensils, towels, bedding etc.
Great view of pools, tennis courts and sea and an easy walk to beach. There is so much to do we wish we had stayed another few days!

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo. It is large and well appointed. Everything was nicely maintained and clean. The balcony is very large and provides a wonderful view of the Gulf. Ample TVs to keep all of the kids occupied in the evening. I particularly loved the large master bath shower. The owner, Lori, was very helpful.
Additional information about rental rates
No tax on stays of 30 days or longer. Rates may be slightly higher on dates that include a major holiday. A longer minimum stay may be required over a holiday or if a stay will leave "open" dates between traveler stays. Spring Break - Saturday to Saturday rental only; must also purchase wrist bands ($28 ea) from HOA good for stay 4 night minimum required over major holidays During busy times (Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th) the building's HOA may require guests to purchase wrist bands (approx. $28 each for length of stay) to denote that they are a guest staying on the property. These extra funds are used to pay for additional security and cleanup crews.
