An absolutely delightful stay!

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful house at the edge of the Catalina foothills. First of all, it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. This was the temporary housing I needed between starting a new job and purchasing a home. Casa Feliz Tuscon made the transition easy. The pool was wonderful, as was access to Udall park and Pantano park with it's marvelous bike trail. And the restaurants nearby were top notch. Zona78, Gusto!, Eclectic Café and Poco and Mom's are all really close and Frost has addictive gelato. I really appreciated having a garage to keep the car out of the sun (and to store my bike). I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay. Thank you, Kaye!

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

The townhouse was just perfect for my stay. Well supplied with everything; great kitchen with beautiful cookware and a keurig for an awesome cup of coffee, amazingly comfortable bed, and linens, generous supply of paper products, and a garage as a bonus! I loved the keyless entry - so very convenient. Lots of light in the living spaces from the sky lights. It was my sanctuary while helping a friend to recover from cancer therapy.

Delightful!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Feliz. Comfortable, with inviting decor, it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The location worked well for us: close to restaurants, grocery stores, the amazing system of bike paths, the Tucson Desert Art Museum. We especially enjoyed the light-filled rooms (windows and skylights), and the outdoor patio where beautiful bird songs filled the space.

Kaye was quick to answer any questions we had; she has stocked the condo with literature about Tucson and the surrounding areas. When she found out we were avid bicyclists, she made sure we found the bike map, part of the literature collection she has amassed.

We would definitely recommend Casa Feliz and hope to return ourselves. Thank you, Kaye, for making our stay so enjoyable and worry-free.

If you're ever in Tucson, you must stay here!!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this cute little house so much that we would stay here again in a heartbeat! The owner, Kaye, has this house furnished so cute with all the nice little touches that make it feel like home! Everything was perfect, from the Keurig with different K cups for us to use (which we did!), very soft towels, and a very VERY comfortable bed. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio and listened to the birds singing us a tune each morning. The layout of the house is well thought out with private bedroom areas. The house was very open, but secure at the same time and so relaxing! Kaye has thought of everything! Please read the other reviews, they are all true. Thank you so much for one of the best experiences we've had with a vacation home! We already miss Tucson and your beautiful house!

Wonderful vacation home in Tucson!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent the month of February thoroughly enjoying our stay here at Casa Feliz! The house is centrally located near Morris Udall Park and a short drive (15 mins) to Sabino Canyon for a great selection of day hikes. We enjoyed bicycling as the entire area is bike-friendly with designated bike lanes in addition to nearby excellent bike paths (Rillito River Parkway was our favorite!). Casa Feliz is also near scenic drives to Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park (East). Downtown Tucson and South Tucson are within a short drive (approx. 20-25 mins.). There is also plenty of good shopping and restaurants in the immediate area.

The house was very clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. The skylights in the kitchen, dining and living rooms brightened the entire place during the day. The kitchen had a full array of newer appliances (including a Keurig), stainless cookware and was stocked with basic food items including spices, coffee, tea, cleaning and paper products. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast from the high-top kitchen table with a view of the beautiful Catalina Mountains in the distance. The laundry room and bathrooms were also well provisioned with soaps, shampoo, paper products, detergents, fabric softener, etc. There was a large supply of quality towels and linens for our use. The king bed in the master bedroom was VERY comfortable to sleep on with a memory foam topper. (We were so impressed with its comfort that we ordered a duplicate for our bed when we returned home!) The walk-in closet off the master bath was spacious enough for storage of all our clothing, shoes and luggage. The Cable TV (large selection of channels) and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. There was also a nice selection of DVD’s, games, puzzles, books, and magazines to enjoy. A notebook filled with information on local attractions was also very useful.

There is a community pool; however, we did not use it as it is not heated prior to March. It would have been nice to have use of a hot tub and an outdoor grill in the community area though. The small enclosed patio has a table and 4 chairs for dining outdoors and the yard is enclosed with partial brick walls, providing some privacy. The landscaping and potted plants were tastefully done with a Southwest look. The house exterior is softly illuminated automatically at dusk and provides a warm welcome back after a day of fun. We look forward to returning next year!

Best vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Casa Felix for at least two months for the past three years. As other reviewers have stated, the condo is very well appointed and supplied with everything a renter might need. We like the location because of proximity to basic stores, some good restaurants, walking in the adjacent park or through various neighborhoods. It's also within walking distance to wash walking and not too far to hiking trails in Sahuaro East.

We have rented a number of condos in both Tucson and in Florida. None has been as comfortable as Casa Felix and no other owner has even come close to being so pleasant and competent to deal with as Kaye. We would continue to rent from her but have decided to make Tucson our winter home and have found a permanent place.
