About the property

Villa Del Sol is a luxury three bedroom, three and a half bath villa set high above sea level in the upscale, gated community of Virgin Grand Estates. Once inside the gates at Virgin Grand Estates it is a short drive to the private parking area adjacent to the entrance to Villa Del Sol. Entering through the elegant custom mahogany doorway delivers arriving guests to the expansive, air conditioned great room which features dramatic vaulted ceilings, comfortably furnished living room decorated with a Caribbean flair and a small writing desk. The south facing wall features elegant arched glass panels above full wall glass sliding doors which overlook the pool deck which bring the panoramic Caribbean views inside.

Adjacent to the living room area is the semi-formal dining area located next to the kitchen with indoor seating for six. The fully equipped kitchen contains all of the features and amenities needed to prepare snacks to gourmet meals. There is a island breakfast bar with seating for casual dining or snacking. Ceiling fans assures climate controlled comfort in both the dining room and kitchen areas. There is another glass sliding door with screen leading from the kitchen to the covered patio where guest may enjoy the casual alfresco dining area with seating for four to six.

The pool deck area features an inviting sculpted pool surrounded by expansive, beautifully tiled decks which are perfect for lounging around taking in the fantastic ocean views. The pool deck and villa are professionally landscaped with beautiful and exotic tropical gardens. Numerous lounge chairs are provided poolside and around the large deck for 'soaking up some rays' or relaxing by the pool while enjoying `sundowner` cocktails in the shade under the covered patio area. You can also prepare your alfresco dinner on the full sized BBQ grill as you watch for the 'green flash' at sunset.

Completing the amenities on the main level are the two guest bedrooms which are located down a short hallway off the main entrance foyer. The first bedroom suite features two twin size beds and an en suite bath with shower. There is a sliding glass and screen door leading to the pool deck. The second bedroom accessed by a connecting door from the middle bedroom features a king size bed with en suite bath and shower. This suite also features a glass and screened sliding door leading to the pool deck. Both bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning systems, ceiling fans and both have flat screen televisions with cable programming and DVD players.

The large master bedroom located on the upper level is accessed by a graceful curved stairway from the main entrance foyer. Here you will enjoy a comfortable king size bed, en suite bath with double sink vanity and separate shower. Individually controlled air conditioning and ceiling fans assure comfortable climate control. There is a flat screen television with cable television programming and DVD player in the suite. While lying in bed you will enjoy the magnificent views through the glass and screen sliding doors which lead to your own private patio overlooking the pool deck and enchanting views of the Caribbean beyond!

Our staff are 'locals' who live on St. John year around who intimately know the island of St. John and specialize in providing unparalleled hospitality services for our guests. We are the experts on St. John and are best equipped to provide knowledgeable, up-to-date advice about all relevant activities, features and amenities which are available to enhance our guests vacation experience.

Building construction on St. John may from time to time occur adjacent to one or more of our rental properties. Presently, there is such a building construction project ongoing in the Virgin Grande Estates area. This project may cause some objectionable noise at Villa del Sol and we apologize for this inconvenience but wanted all prospective guests to be fully informed about this issue.
