Spacious, fully furnished condo on the streetcar line and parade route. The condo features 1 bedroom with new king size bed and lots of light from windows opening onto St. Charles. We recently opened two more windows in the bedroom and converted the closet in to a small nook with a desk. There is also a very comfortable queen size Front Gate airbed available.
Maximum capacity - 4 people
Across the street from Fresh Market and several nice restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
***Very Important, Please Read***
This condo is located in small, 10 unit, condo complex directly on St. Charles Ave. As noted above it's directly on the streetcar lined with a stop in front of the condo. The condo bedroom faces St. Charles and has 4 windows that open on to the street. There will be street noise, this is a vibrant city and there may be street musicians playing out front at any given time. If noise is a problem this may not be the place for you unless you bring earplugs. We LOVE everything about it, especially the sound of the streetcar and the sax player on the street but realize this is not for everyone.

About Bonnie King
My husband and I moved from Atlanta to Gulf Shores, AL in 2013. He is from Pittsburgh and I moved from New Orleans to Atlanta. We like to spend time in New Orleans and since moving to the Gulf Coast it's much easier. We love sharing our condo with new and old friends and family. We only ask that you respect our condo and neighbors.
Bonnie King purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Bonnie King chose Milan
This is our second condo purchase in New Orleans; the first was in 2001 but flooded during Katrina. We remodeled and sold it a few years ago. Since that time we have missed having our own place here and in many ways regretted the decision to sell. We purchased this condo because it's beautiful, it's on St. Charles Ave and has everything we could possibly need. The character of the building and the unique flavor of the neighborhood make this a perfect choice for us.
What makes this Condo unique
There are many unique benefits to our condo; the location is perfect, the 100 year old building make it special, the swimming pool is refreshing on those hot summer days. Fresh Market being across the street is so convenient and the food selections are awesome. Wine bars and restaurants within walking distance and the convenience of the streetcar as well as the close proximity to Magazine Street make this a perfect place for us and we hope the same will be true for our guests.

Great space, great location!
Bonnies place was perfect for my weekend stay. I prefer to stay just outside the quarter and this was my first time exploring Garden District which I really liked. St Charles Ave has some great restaurants and bars.
The space itself was well appointed, spacious and has everything you need.
Cant wait to go back!
Fantastic! Please return soon!
Very convenient and clean
We enjoyed our stay at Bonnie's condo and would come back again. It is very convenient either for the CBD or The Garden District. The St Charles Trolley stops right at the corner. There is a Right Aide next door for last minute items and a beautiful full service grocery store just across the street. If you get hurt or fall ill there is also a hospital across the street next to a Wine Bar. We took the trolley everywhere. We did not need a car. There are several very good restaurants a short trolley ride away and the trolley takes you all the way to the French Quarter. There is no cable but she does have Netflix in the bedroom. We are from a big city so we were not bothered by the hustle and bustle of St. Charles, but since there is a hospital close by ,you will hear ambulance sirens sometimes. However we slept like the dead in Bonnie's comfortable bed and were never bothered by anything. It is a very quiet building and very secure. The condo is spotless and the kitchen is well equipped and up to date, Bonnie's correspondence with us was prompt and very informative.
Thanks for your review and I’m happy you enjoyed your time at the condo.
Bonnie is a wonderful host! The condo is in the perfect location. There are restaurants close by, The Fresh Market is just steps away and the streetcar is directly in front of the condo. The unit itself is very well furnished and has everything you need. The photos on VRBO don’t do it justice, much nicer than shown. We would love to stay here in the future. Thanks Bonnie!
Thank you very much for choosing our condo for you weekend getaway and I look forward to hosting you again soon!
Great location on trolley line and garden district
Bright sunny apartment with new fully furnished kitchen. Walk across street to St. Charles trolley and beautiful Garden District. Easy access to French Quarter and Tulane U. area. Safe, off-street parking. We left our car and walked, took the trolley or Uber. Amazing restaurant town and Easter parade.
Thanks for staying at our condo and I certainly hope you will return often!
Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient
This one bedroom condo has a full kitchen and is conveniently located uptown on St Charles Ave. Very clean and extremely comfortable. My husband and I were able to relax and walk to Superior Grill for lunch. Would recommend this place to anyone.
even more wonderful the second time!
This was my second stay with Bonnie at her wonderful condo, obviously she and the condo left a great impression on me the first time. Its been a few years since my last stay, and Bonnie keeps the place updated and clean, its a perfect place to make your home base in New Orleans. You can walk to many garden districts restaurants and shops, and the street car is steps away. The condo itself is homey and relaxing and gets the best sunlight and views of the avenue. You really couldn't ask for a better location in my opinion! Thanks for everything, Bonnie!
Thanks so much for your review! I'm so glad the condo left such an impression that you returned and hopefully you will come back often.
Streetcar stops directly in front of building so it's an easy ride into downtown, riverfront area and the French Quarter. Magazine Street is a few blocks and filled with antique shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The National World War II (D-Day) Museum is a must see and is less than 2 miles away. Audubon Park Zoo is 3 miles away and riding the streetcar up St. Charles Ave to see the beautiful homes is a wonderful way to spend some time.
