Watch the sunrise from the eastern balcony. Take the new inclined boardwalk to the beach for a morning stroll in the sand. Witness a spectacular sunset over the Matanzas River from the western balcony, from the private fishing pier, or from the dining room of the unit.
Windjammer is a direct oceanfront condominium which features a GATED ENTRANCE, PARKING GARAGE, ELEVATOR, SWIMMING POOL, TENNIS COURTS, and FISHING PIER.
The unit is located on the second level, above the dunes. The parking garage is on the ground level.
Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath retreat is fully stocked. All you need to bring is a suitcase and groceries. The unit includes HDTV, BLU RAY PLAYER, WI-FI, and PRIVATE LAUNDRY.
The master bedroom overlooks the ocean and features a KING BED, a walk-in closet, a double vanity, JETTED TUB and shower. The guest bedroom offers Intracoastal views, and includes twin beds and a bath. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides extra sleeping for two.
My father is a retired psychologist. We were both born in Virginia, and we moved to Florida in 1964 so Dad could persue his doctorate at The University of Florida. I currently work as a school media specialist.
Dad and I decided to purchase a beach condo and spend more time together relaxing and having fun with friends and family.

We searched for 8 weeks in the summer of 2002. We vacationed in rentals of all variations from Amelia Island to Palm Coast. Sometimes we booked economy units and walked to the beach, and other times we stayed in huge complexes with crowded, lively beaches. Some had restaurants and hotels across the street, and some were very remote. We narrowed our preferences down to oceanfront, quiet atmosphere, peaceful, and premier; we fell in love with Windjammer at Crescent Beach.
We bought the unit and furnished it with new coastal cottage furniture and decor. Since then, we have updated and replenished the furnishings and appliances as needed.
Why did we fall in love with this property? Location, location, location. And views, views, views!
This property is located next to and south of St. Augustine Beach on a quiet, narrow strip of land nestled between the ocean and the intracoastal waterway and offers waterfront views of both. Amenities and services are plentiful and within a very close proximity. Escape the crowds, enjoy the privacy of Crescent Beach, and take in all that St. Augustine and the surrounding area have to offer. Drive south to Palm Coast and Daytona Beach, southwest to Orlando, west to Gainesville, or north to Jacksonville for daytrips. Or stay close by and visit Old St. Augustine, play golf at The World Golf Village, shop at the Outlet Malls, or dine in one of the quaint restaurants nearby.
