Guestbook comments from the manager

This was our romantic Christmas getaway this year and it was a lovely time. We wandered through the mountain towns and learned a lot of history pertaining to the U.S. Highway 2 and the railroad. We ate German food in Leavenworth and watched trains go by in Skykomish. Today we'll take off through Wenatchee and head home via Snoqualmie Pass. We're sad to be leaving but sure to be back some day soon.

So beautiful, so relaxing.

Had the most wonderful weekend at Foss River Cottage. There were so many unexpected and thoughtful extras in the cabin. We truly didn't want to leave.

A great, relaxing retreat

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was great to get away from things for a few days. The main downside we found is that there aren't many places to eat in the immediate vicinity.

Cute cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We rented the cottage for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint. The cottage is cozy, but has everything you need and the location on the river is awesome! We especially enjoyed the outdoor grilling and dining area, hot tub, horse shoes, and fire pit!

Fantastic cabin on the river!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a great quiet time this weekend! What a great cabin! We kept talking plans of returning with the kids this summer. The house was stocked with more then enough home supplies, towels, kitchen etc. The sound of the rushing river while lounging in the hot tub added wonderfully to a perfect setting. I cant say enough, we cant wait to go back.

Great weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is great. The river sounds amazing. The hot tub is hot, clean and covered so we could use it when it was raining. The cabin is cozy with a fire going, and plenty of DVDs and games to play.

Perfect getaway for the weekend! The owner(s) really knocked it out of the park with regards to location, price and attention to detail. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, all appliances and even some coffee, tea, cocoa and cereal to use, if you wish. The cabin is quite spacious with something for everyone to do. The back deck has a hot tub, grill and outdoor furniture. There are paths to walk down to the river. This was the perfect distance from our house, yet close to hiking, Stevens Pass and Leavenworth all while being secluded and quiet. We will definitely be back!
