Enjoy a tranquil lagoon view from this newly furnished 3 bedroom, 3 baths, single home located in a quiet corner of hilton head's popular palmetto dunes resort.

The entry foyer opens to a spacious living room with carpeted flooring, 2 comfortable sofas, 2 inviting side chairs & ottomans, a wall mounted 55' tv over the fireplace, and a full wall of windows overlooking the pool, the landscaped yard, and the lagoon beyond. The adjacent formal dining room has a large table with seating for 8.

The kitchen affords access to the screened in porch room, a big laundry room, and the 2-car garage. There is a table for 4 that looks out over the lagoon.

There is a master bedroom off the kitchen, that has a king bed, 42' tv, and private bathroom with a new tiled shower. This room also has private access to the screened in porch and overlooks the lagoon.

The second master is large and has a king bed, 42' tv and full bathroom with a tub and stand alone shower. The third bedroom has a set of bunk beds that has a trundle bed and also an extra twin bed beside it, a children's paradise with a tv and bathroom of their own.

The pool was built in fall of 2012 with a 3-5 foot range, your family is sure to enjoy. The lagoon offers plenty of wildlife to see and explore.

This home offers 2 hours of free tennis per day at the palmetto dunes tennis center upon request.

Palmetto dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under highway 278 that provides access to the shelter cove marina, shops, restaurants, and mall.

Thank you so much for the use of your home for our trip to Hilton Head! We had such a wonderful time and the house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We were able to keep the kids on one side of the house and we stayed in the bedroom closest to the kitchen and it was perfect because it gave the kids their own space to hang out and stay up late. The pool was fantastic and was a really nice alternative to the beach.

Overall positive, but some cleanliness issues.

Overall we very much liked the house, and would consider renting it again in the future. The interior was well laid out and the overall internal appearance was clean.

However, we did have a few issues:

- The garbage area outside was a mess when we arrived. It appeared the prior renters left a significant amount of garbage and it looked as it some animals got into it as garbage was all over the place. We assumed that this would be cleaned by the garbage pickup service, but it was not. So we ended up cleaning up the area. Very disgusting.

- The grounds outside of the driveway and immediate pool area were scattered with garbage. I am not sure who is responsible for picking it up, but there was garbage pretty much scattered throughout the pine areas. We also ended up walking around picking this up, some plastic bottles, paper, etc.

- The gas grill was out of gas so we had to go buy a tank. When we cooked there were flames from the grease we found under the grill. A catch container was overflowing and the pan was filled with droppings and grease. So we cleaned this also. Again very disgusting. We did end up giving the full tank we bought to our friend who lives around the corner in exchange for his that was around 1/3rd full by the way.

- The interior was clean, but we found many garbage items behind couches, under beds etc. The cleaning service should do a better job checking behind and under furniture.

- Much of the silverware and some dishes were dirty on arrival. Almost like the prior renter just put dirty silverware and plates away. The cleaning crew should check this as part of their service.

Comfortable, impeccably clean, great floorplan and a "wow" pool

An excellent value that exceeded our expectations!

We loved that we could shut the doors to the kitchen areas and keep our small dogs there while we were out. This is a great home for pets and children with the large expanse of downstairs square footage and plush carpet. The home was well stocked with towels/bath products and kitchen utensils, etc. The split bedroom plan would be great for vacationing couples or a family that likes to enjoy the adults on one side and kids on the other!

I cannot say enough about how clean and comfortable the house is - the living room furniture is a notch about anything we have rented before, being cozy and oversized - and not dated. The house is well maintained - we saw the pest control and pool vendor a few times during our stay.

Honestly, I felt like I was at home after a few days and was proud to rent this home on a quiet culdesac, with quiet neighbors.

I would rent from this owner again. They were responsive, friendly and available for questions.

Thank you for making my wedding anniversary week something to remember!
