My wife and I spent a beautiful October weekend in the Little Inlet Cottage. It was tiny but perfectly suitable for us and our 8-lb. Maltese. The location is wonderful. It is right across the street from Lake Chautauqua and is on a quiet street that feels detached but is only a couple of minutes from restaurants and a TOPS supermarket. The Chautauqua Institution is about 10 minutes away, and the entire area is lovely - especially in the fall. The owners provide a very clean house with every amenity included. The house did have Direct TV, but all we were able to get was 2 channels of programming and about 40 of infomercials. We would recommend this stop for anyone seeking a quiet getaway or a fishing vacation.
The cottage met all of our expectations and was pleasantly comfortable. We were there for solely a fishing trip so all we needed was a place to rest our heads at night. The fold out futon couch was comfortable and the other amenities were more than ample. We had rented a boat and had anticipated an easier time of getting our boat down the little "canal/creek/inlet" which leads up to the house but the low water levels, and the heavy weed buildup made it harder than expected, but this is of no fault of the owners. The cottage is not waterfront, but surprisingly we had a very nice view of the lake from the yard. Overall a great stay and Mark and Myra were very friendly and a pleasure to work with!
Cottage was perfect for 2 people. Very clean and comfortable. Owners were great! Great location. On an inlet. We had our dog with us, so loved the fenced in yard. No internet, but the local library is very close, and they have internet. They recently installed ceiling fans in the cottage which help on hot days. Most nights were comfortable for sleeping, but 2 nights were warm. I would highly recommend this cottage for 1 or 2 people.
Lovely stay and appreciated the hosts preparation and lodging. We also enjoyed the environs and local wildlife that happened by. Thank you for all your considerations.

My husband and I rented this cottage for a week to bring our boat to fish. It was perfect close to town if you wanted to eat out or close to the store if you'd like to eat in. The marina is a few houses down we launched our boat and worked out a deal with the guy to launch our boat all week. The cottage has a nice kitchen or grill if you want to grill out. We did not take our dog but it is perfect for dogs with a nice fenced in yard. Everything was so clean and decorated with an outdoor cabin theme. We will be planning a trip back soon.
My wife and I stayed a week there on a bass fishing getaway. The fishing is great on Chautauqua and lake Erie is just minutes away. There was plenty of room to park the boat trailer in the driveway hooked up to the truck. There was even a private marina just a few houses down that let me launch my boat all week for a small fee. Mark and Myra were very accommodating and enjoyed speaking with both of them. We will definitely be staying there again.
