The location is ideal--situated between Siesta Key (a 5 mile drive) with it's world famous white sand beach (recently voted the best in the country!) and it's quaint 'Village' shopping area filled with casual dining places and pubs, and Lido Key, (a 6 mile drive) equally famous for St. Armand's Circle with it's many upscale shops and restaurants.
Your vacation home was built in the 1920's, but has been totally renovated inside in a contemporary style, while maintaining it's cottage charm on the outside. The small private front porch with it's two chairs & table is a delightful spot to relax at the end of a busy day.
The street location is extremely quiet, despite it's close proximity to all types of interesting diversions. There is a wonderful public park just a 2 minute walk away from you. It is loaded with amenities such as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, indoor & outdoor basketball courts, a vibrant open pickle ball league ,fitness center, and waking/jogging trails.
You are one mile to the Southside Village which has many diverse restaurants, pubs and Morton's Market, a gourmet grocery store with fresh produce and ready-made items to take out, and also a very tempting bakery. Your other option for groceries is Publix, a fully stocked supermarket just 1 1/2 miles away.
