About the property

Exquisite and bright apartment ! Nearby the square de la Roquette, the beautiful Pere Lachaise graveyard and close to Bastille trendy district.

This 90m² apartment is perfectly adapted for 2-6 persons. It sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. It is on the fourth floor of a charming traditional French style stone building with an elevator.

Located close to the square de la Roquette garden, the apartment lies in a quiet Parisian district.

Apartment entrance gives on a wooden floored corridor leading to the different rooms.

Front and Right of entrance, one finds a large living room linked to a dining area making. The place is very spacious. Four beautiful full height double windows bath these areas in light. The floor is made of solid wood.

The living area offers 2 sofas and 2 armchairs by the chimney (chimney not to be used). Both sofa can be turned in single beds : they are regular size and can sleep adults although it is always better to have kids or teenagers sleeping in sofa beds (cushions needs to be taken off at night). We recommend their use as extra beds for stays not longer than 15 days.

The apartment has two nice separate bedrooms. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed, a very large closet and drawers. The second bedroom also offers a comfortable double bed and has a large wardrobe (part of each closet and wardrobe is private) and an office corner by the window.

The apartment has a separate kitchen with is nicely designed and fully equipped (dish washer, oven, microwave oven…).

Bathroom is delicately decorated with wooden floor and white ceramic tiled walls. It offers a bathtub and a sink with mirror. A translucent window brings natural light to the room.

Transportation is the easiest : the apartment is a couple of minutes walk from subway stations Voltaire and Philippe Auguste.

This location is a perfect base to visit Paris, it stays in a calm area. It takes 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

Neighborhood :

The nearby and trendy Bastille area offers a mix of clothing shops, bars and restaurants.

Pere Lachaise cemetery is one of the most visited cemeteries in the world. Here lie numerous celebrities from the realms of history, music (Jim Morrison)…, literature, art, theatre, and science. In addition, Pere Lachaise boasts beautiful landscaping and a romantic atmosphere, and offers a rich variety of funerary art from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

About InBP6

In Beau Paris is a Vacation Rental Agency operating in Paris for more than 10 years.

We manage close to 100 apartments in Paris, all of very good to luxury standard.

We take care of the advertising of apartments, the reservation process from payments to security deposit refund; and even the cleaning and the maintenance of the apartment.

We would be very happy to host you in one of our apartments that you will find on VRBO Listing #26870.

We do very little brand name advertisement. We focus on what matters: MAKING SURE OUR GUESTS ARE SATISFIED (check the reviews on any of our apts. Recent apts do not have reviews yet).

We believe it is the best way to develop our activities which have been growing steadily every year. You are welcome to try our service.

Why InBP6 chose Roquette

We selected this property because of its great location close to Voltaire, Pere Lachaise, 10 mn subway ride to Bastille, Montmartre and Center of Paris. The apartment is cosy, very tidy and bright.

It is the main residence of the owner. He rents when going to his secondary residence. For a guest, renting a main residence is a warranty of high quality : it is always maintained at top level. Obvioulsy, the owner puts away personal belonging. There is more than enough space available for guests.

What makes this apartment unique

We know searching for an apartment can be a nightmare :

that is why, from beginning of your search to the end of your stay, you will have REAL PEOPLE INTERACTING WITH YOU, not automatic mailing or automatic booking.

We answer to each request and send a detailed quote & contract on each request. We believe the instant quote given on the site is not precise enough for a guest to book an apt.

We react fast, be it by mail (often in the hour, max 24h, we have evening shift), Immediatly by phone. Note we do not take booking on the phone nor discuss prices or availability, risk of mistake is too high. E-mail is much more secure & precise. We nevertheless are happy to answer specific questions.

During your stay, we are always available. We can advise you on how to use the apt. We run a night emergency line, for real emergencies :-). When problem arise, we do our best to solve them, quickly.

We want our guest to have the best memories of their stay. We have a high rate of returning guests : it seems they do.

Lovely apartment and great location

  • 5 of 5

This apartment lives up to and exceeds expectations. The pictures provide a very good indication, but the reality is far more enjoyable. The fabulous balconies to look out at the park, spacious rooms, all amenities needed and in a location that has everything you need for a short or long stay. We loved popping out to get the daily baguette/croissant or to the supermarket. Then there's the cheese specialists, butchers, wine store, there is just everything you could need. All of this as well as a very easy walk to the train station to take you to the fabulous attractions. The apartment is quite, easy to access with a lift and very secure. I will be recommending this to any friends looking for an apartment. Thank you too for the thorough communication and easy payment process.

Wonderful Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for 2 weeks with 6 people and it was better than described! The apartment is very spacious and has everything that you need for a long or short stay. Management left a book with instructions and recommendations for everything that you may need during your stay. I had an issue with the door key on a Saturday and was able to reach management within 30 minutes and they took care of everything right away. I highly recommend this unit to anyone travelling with a group. The neighborhood is conveniently located between 2 subway stations but the bus line 69 that stops in front of the apartment takes you directly to most of the main attractions such as Eiffel Tower and Louvre. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

A fantastic base from which to explore Paris

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Voltaire. The apartment was spacious, bright and clean with all of the facilities required to make our stay comfortable. Often we cooked in the kitchen with produce purchased from the friendly local butcher, bakeries and nearby grocery stores, or ate in the local cafés and restaurants. We found the local community to be warm and friendly. My son enjoyed playing in the park across the road and he was very appreciative of the fast internet in the apartment. Every day our Paris adventure started and ended with a walk along Rue de la Roquette which although a main street was quiet at night, apart from the lovely sounds of the locals playing petanque. We used the Metro nearly every day of our stay, mainly from Voltaire but occasionally from Philippe Auguste, with both stations only a short walk away. Our stay was in June and the apartment coped with the heat well and cooled down quickly at night. I would definitely recommend Voltaire to anyone that is looking for a fantastic base from which to explore Paris. Thank you Jean-Noel for all of your help with the booking process which was very easy and the few queries that we had during our stay were answered promptly.

Lovely, clean and spacious

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week in the Voltaire apartment. There were 4 of us in the apartment. It was lovely, clean, spacious. Although we only ate a small breakfast in the apartment, it was clear that there was everything one would need to cook all meals there. The proximity of the market and other specialty shops was great.

The building was quiet and the elevator a great help at the end of a long walking day.

The youngest member of our group (21 years) LOVED the bathroom and commented about it daily! Indeed, it was large and very convenient.

The accessibility to the Metro was wonderful and it was easy to get around. We had a Paris Pass and rode "free" for 5 days.

Thank you for all the assistance and this lovely place to stay.

Very good location for traveling families

  • 4 of 5

We spent several days in this apartment. The trip was a late decision so we were really pleased that we got such a convenient alternative for a family - full of light, plenty of room, close to metro stops, multiple markets, etc. It was good to be able to decompress in a homey environment after a long day running around Paris. (speaking of, the Number 69 bus mentioned in Rick Steves and other guide books stops directly across the street heading away from the Pere Lachaise cemetery). Nearby hits for the whole family were the La Comete brasserie (my 9 and 11 year olds were stealing my snails, they were so good) and the Maison Landemine bakery.

One thing I must mention: I can't say enough about how helpful Jean-Noel and the others were. Jean-Noel actually suggested this property, made the reservation process quick and easy, and had a very simple and effective check-in process. There's a really detailed "how to" book in the apartment, and when we had a couple of questions beyond that, we received answers very quickly. This was my first rental in Paris and I was very pleased with the support that we got - I'd absolutely recommend working with them.

Owner's Response: Hi Colin, Thanks for this kind review and compliments on the management. It’s nice to hear that you enjoyed the apartment and what area had to offer. It is a family friendly neighborhood with the metro close by and the bus no 69. The apartment itself is, as you pointed out, full of light, with plenty of room and homey. Thanks for recommending us and we hope to see you in Paris sometime soon. Sincerely, Jean-Noel

Perfect Parisian address!

  • 5 of 5

Jean-Noel: Our stay last week at Le Voltaire was truly a pleasure. We absolutely loved the apartment! So much room, so much light, so much comfort, and all amidst a wonderful neighborhood filled with great little cafes, shops and bistros. We could easily have spent the entire 5 days of our stay on the rue de la Roquette. We heartily recommend Le Voltaire to anyone wishing to experience "la vraie vie Parisienne." Thank you for such nice accommodations. --Traveling Professor
