About John

This is our family's cottage that we rent out periodically when we are unable to use the home.

Why John chose Lexington

You won't find another cottage in this area with such a perfect blend of comfort, every amenity and style.

What makes this cottage unique

Our home is on a quiet street removed from the very busy M-25. This provides a much more peaceful and tranquil setting on the Lake side of the home as well as the street side.

Fabulous Panoramic Lake Huron Views!

  • 5 of 5

Your cottage is truly a Lake Huron gem - its like being at "home" but right on the water! We stayed here with our young family of 6 and had the time of our lives! The accommodations are very comfortable and practical, the geography is spectacular, and the lakeside setting is beautifully "Pure Michigan" coastal at its best. The expansive windows on the lakeside combined with a cozy coastal palette create a seamless flow from the inside out. Each day the horizon included a "parade" of far out freighters, sailboats, powerboats, and AMAZING SUNRISES (we even watched a "Moon River" rise during our stay)! And for the beachcombers - many many unique fossils (including Petoskey stones) and beach glass abound! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your Spirit-filled cottage - we definitely look forward to our next stay!!

Beautiful house, little touches superb. Fun for al

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our extended family getaway in Summer 2015. We had four adults and four children, and the accommodations were excellent. The house is clean, beautiful. The little touches made it feel like a home away from home. The owners were helpful with all of our questions. The children (two 7 and two 9 year olds) had an incredible time. We loved it! Beach was small, but everyone enjoyed it!!!

The house was just beautiful. We had 6 of our children with us and everything was wonderful. The owners went above and beyond for us including sending a stuffed animal one of our daughter left behind back to us. The beach is nice. The yard and porch swing were very relaxing. Its just far enough out of town but still close so if you need something you dont feel like you are driving forever. I am looking forward to staying at this home again.

Girls weekend

  • 5 of 5

I have been renting houses in Lexington for 15 years for a girls weekend. This house was by far the best. It was beautiful and clean. Like new. The beds were so comfortable. The pictures do not do the house justice. I would recommend the house to anyone, families or girls outings. The owners were very accomodating. We didn't have to bring bedding or towels. I will definately rent again next year. We hope to call this house, home.
