We’re located on Carolina Beach, a scenic barrier island with a village atmosphere. There’s swimming, surfing, boating, kayaking, surf and deep sea fishing, hiking and ocean cruises. The beaches are clean, wide and uncrowded. Our 1,500-square-foot cottage is minutes from the marina, lively night spots and fine dining – plus shopping, recreation, craft shops and a Saturday farmers’ market. In summer, carnival rides and a midway will tempt the young and young at heart. Free Thursday night fireworks and Friday night concerts on the Carolina Beach boardwalk (one of the last beach boardwalks on the East Coast). Our home is a short walk from Freeman Park, a state park where you can build campfires and drive the beach in 4WD vehicles. We’re a short drive from the state aquarium, the historic Civil War battlefield and earthen batteries at Ft. Fisher, the Southport ferry, and Wilmington, a lively port city that offers museums, historic sites, bistros, bars and restaurants.
Originally from Carolina Beach, we recently bought our dream beach house and have made it our home away from home. We enjoy natural surroundings and simple pleasures. We like to explore our neighborhood here on foot, from the beach to the inlet to the wetlands. We often bike to the Carolina Beach boardwalk, the farmers’ market, craft stores and to grocery shopping. We think you’ll feel right at home here as soon as you feel the sea breeze.

Bright, airy and roomy with modern amenities, just a block and half from the beach, yet in a quiet, friendly, family neighborhood.
Every just feel like you need to get to some place quiet. As an artist and yoga instructor I have found my Oasis. The short walk to the beach and the open stretch of sand where I can walk for hours. Thank you
I enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, neat and well equipped. We got a lot of rain on my trip and this was a very comfortable place to wait out the storm. Quiet neighborhood but short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend this property.
Our family of four has stayed in this house for three consecutive years. It's clean, quiet and comfortable. It's an easy less than five minute walk to the beach. The beaches are wonderful and not crowded. It's very convenient and easy to get to the Carolina Beach attractions - by either car or bicycle. I strongly recommend this house and Carolina Beach.
We enjoyed staying at this property, it was a nice walk to the beach and the house was clean and accommodated 6 adults perfectly.
The house was in great condition and clean upon arrival
The owner was very cordial and helpful.
It would be nice if some beach equipment was provided, chairs, umbrella boogie boards.
Otherwise a very comfortable and well kept house.
We stayed for three days in Kacey's lovely, airy, spaceous beach cottage. The house had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated and clean.
The weather didn't fully cooperate, but we had the big porch to hang out, and were so close to the beach we could make the most of every sunny opportunity. The house is in a quiet relaxing neighborhood, and only a few minutes from Carolina Beach amenities. For the price, the situation and the quality, this house is a steal and we highly recommend it.
Located on Pleasure Island, a barrier island with broad, clean beaches and plenty of outdoor and recreational activities, plus restaurants and bars in all price ranges.
