Rione V Ponte Apartment Rental Photos and Description

1940 sq. ft (180-190 sq. m) in the hearth of the city

“Art in the heart of Rome”

This unique loft in the heart of Rome was born from the artistic concept of a roman artist. The antique perfectly melts with the modern. Sculptures, pictures and furnitures are the peculiarity of this big open space of almost 180 square meters/1,940 square feet, composed of a large kitchen, two bathrooms (one has a shower and the other a tub with shower), 3 bedrooms (2 double rooms and 1 for three people with a mezzanine floor) and a large living room. The apartment has an autonomous central heating system. There is no air conditioning because its special position on the ground floor makes it cool. The flat also includes a washing machine, a dish washer and free WI FI Internet access.
The whole flat is equipped with everything necessary to ensure the comfort of our guests.

Looking for a not traditional apartment inside an historical building in the historical city center? Here we are!

Also the central Railway station “Termini” is easily reachable with the bus line #40 (only 5 stops). And from the Termini station you can reach the main airport with the express line.

Spacious apartment full of character in a great location

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for a week in October 2016 while visiting Rome for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the style and location of this huge apartment. It's full of character, right from the metal designed front doors into the living room with the high ceilings and archways. There's so much living space in all the bedrooms and also the living room. We regularly came back to the apartment in the evening with a bottle of wine (or two) and just relaxed with our friends.

The location is exceptional as well. You're not really more than 15-20 minutes walk away from any of the main sights in Rome and my two favourite places, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, are practically next door. The neighbourhood is amazing as well with all of the narrow streets full of life and atmosphere at all times of day, especially the evenings, so you're sure to find decent food and drink within a few steps.

Finally the service was brilliant. Valentina and Mrs Enrica were both great. Valentina's advice on the location and her contact in the lead up to our visit were so valuable and incredibly helpful. Mrs Enrica was great as well, giving us a clear and detailed tour of the apartment making sure we knew everything before she left. She even helped us find a good hairstylist nearby for some of our wedding guests.

All in all this is a great apartment with lots of charm in a fantastic location. I'd thoroughly suggest it for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a true Roman experience.

Wonderful apartment in Rome

  • 5 of 5

If you want a wonderful apartment in the best location in Rome operated by honest and extremely helpful owner. This is your destination. Don't look any further!! Valintina is extremly helpful with whatever needs you may have befor your arrival all the way to the end of your trip. Her assistant will meet you at the apartment and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The apartment is clean and very large for a city center location and was very tastefully decorated with all the amenities you will need.

The location is unbeatable. You are in the center of all the major attraction and you have cafe's just outside your door. There is a grocery store atm machine, a taxi stand and bus stop all within 3 blocks walk.

You can easily walk to all the major attraction within 20-25 minutes depending on how often you stop to admire this beautiful city.

I would not hesitate to book this apartment for my next stay in Rome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Best location in Rome

  • 5 of 5

The location is in the heart of time with the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna and many restaurants and bars near by . The apartment is a quirky fabulous place with no noise yet in the heart of everything . The moment you open the amazing double metal doors it is like a new world . The building is old so somethings like the hot water are not instantaneous but that is not a problem when you look at everything else . Valentina was great at organising transport and we really appreciated her notes and suggestions for Rome and the guidebooks she left . Would love to come back !

Unique Apartment

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in Rome and this apartment is at a great location and has pretty much everything you need! Mrs. Enrica the manager was fantastic, what a very kind lady. Also, the assistance with taxi and transport to and from airport. Clean bedding and towels were provided for use. Our biggest complaint was that there is no air conditioning and since we visited in July, it was very hot. The apartment had fans, but still warm as there are limited Windows to move the air in or out. Also, had a few problems with bugs, not sure if that was due to the heat or time or year or something else. They did provide some spray and plug in type things to combat the bug issue, but they were still somewhat of bother, as we always had to wipe sink or shower before use as they covered the shower floor or the sink! Yuck. And they seem to bite as lots of us had bites on different parts of body: ankles , chest etc. the apartment is nice and roomy though for the family of six adults that did stay here. We really liked Rome. We would rent again, but perhaps at cooler time of year or hope for air conditioning installation! Thank you.

Owner's Response: Dear Kay, Thank you for your review. I am glad you liked the apartment. I am sorry for your complaint. We spoke for other things so I wished you told me about the bugs. There was a problem this year on the roads around the apartment: municipality decided to do some important works breaking a few roads around the house, started in June, since then we have had bugs in the bathroom. They don't bite though. What was biting you was the tiger mosquitos . They are very aggressive and resistant to the sprays unfortunately. In any case Mrs Enrica and I could have tried to find another solution in order to solve this inconvenient if we knew it in time. Thank you for being my guests. Have a lovely day!

Superb property!

  • 5 of 5

The location is top notch! It is a reasonable walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza Novona, Campo de Fiori (great market), 2 taxi stands (we didn't utilize the bus) and many shops/restaurants - just to name a few. It's difficult to find a better location/price.

We were a party of 4 adults and 2 teens and the apartment allowed room for all of us to spread out and enjoy the accommodations. There is a charm that is difficult to describe. You get the Roman feel with brickwork inside from the Mid-Evil times but also an artistic feel from the special features added by the owners to the bedroom with the loft bookshelf. Great atmosphere.

Valentina is very responsive via email - even arranged car service from the Rome airport (which I highly recommend if you're not familiar with the city). You arrive less than 1/2 a block from the property and avoid the high cost/frustration of a taxi on your first day! The cost was very reasonable (considering a taxi isn't inexpensive).

I would highly recommend the property for any party!

Excellent place and location!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for five nights in mid-May 2016. My conclusion is that you would be hard pressed to find a better location in Rome for visitors than this one! Central to the Vatican and all the Roman stuff (all in walking distance and once you figure out the buses even easier). It did get a little noisy on Saturday night due to all the nearby bars/restaurants but it's a city after all! There are numerous restuarant choices nearby (not all great and catering heavily to tourists; I got one of the few bad meals I had in Italy at one just a few blocks away. Not sure how you can really tell which ones are good!). The apartment is very spacious (we had five), although the kitchen is a little small. It's a little dark inside with not much outside view but since you are out all the time sightseeing that is not really an issue. Maybe for a longer stay you might care. Our host Valentina was very open and communicative and her assistant Mrs. Enrica very nice and helpful as well. Highly recommend.

Live like a Roman in the historical downtown, near some of the city’s most desirable attractions. You’ll be a three minute walk from Navona Square and 10 minutes from both Saint Angel Castle, the Pantheon Temple and Saint Peter Church. Distance walking also from the Spanish steps, the Roman Fore and the Trevi Fountain. You’ll find all around you charming and fashionable shops, typical restaurants, folkloristic markets, many museums, and beautiful Lybrary (such as the Chamber of Deputy one or the House of Literatures).

Anything else you might want to get to near or far is easily reachable being so close to every transportation option: a taxi station (this is 1 minute far from the house), city buses, the blue and orange subway lines, and Termini railway station (with the bus terminal to Fiumicino Airport).
