“Art in the heart of Rome”
This unique loft in the heart of Rome was born from the artistic concept of a roman artist. The antique perfectly melts with the modern. Sculptures, pictures and furnitures are the peculiarity of this big open space of almost 180 square meters/1,940 square feet, composed of a large kitchen, two bathrooms (one has a shower and the other a tub with shower), 3 bedrooms (2 double rooms and 1 for three people with a mezzanine floor) and a large living room. The apartment has an autonomous central heating system. There is no air conditioning because its special position on the ground floor makes it cool. The flat also includes a washing machine, a dish washer and free WI FI Internet access. The whole flat is equipped with everything necessary to ensure the comfort of our guests.

I'm a musician.
Valentina D'Ercole purchased this apartment in 1997
I used to live in this house with my family. When my parents retired and I went to live alone we moved in different Roman neighbourhoods.
This is a perfect apartment for people loving contemporary design solutions merged in an historical location. The combination of antique and contemporary furniture is the cipher of the place. For eyes used to unusual...
We absolutely loved this rental. There were six of us in total. My wife and myself and our three children. (Two of those are adults) and my sister-in-law. So, five adults and a child. There was plenty of room. The apartment is absolutely lovely. It has great charm and character, and it is very comfortable. It's just a beautiful place. Of course, the location is just perfect. You are a short walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon as well as Campo de Fiori and even the Vatican. There are terrific restaurants close by. In fact, we loved il Corrallo down the street. Finally, I must compliment Valentina. She was very helpful. She arranged transportation to and from the airport and was always available. I can't recommend this more highly. We hope to come back!
To begin with Valentina and team were outstanding both before and during our visit. We felt very taken care of! There were only 3 of us, so the home was larger than we needed, but we all enjoyed having our own space during rest times (there are a number of lofts and hideaway areas). The internet was fast enough for me to check in on work details as needed. The location couldn't be beat, there's even a taxi stand nearby so no worries about wherever you need to go in the city. A few details I'll mention not because they are inherently bad, but just because they may allow you to assess whether this is the right place for you and your guests:
1) The space is historical, you should value charm over modern conveniences.
2) You should not be bothered by late night noise. We discovered Romans stay up late, doing all sorts of very normal things. There is little noise insulation between the immediate neighbors (though we never heard noise from the street). We used our white noise apps to fall asleep sometimes, but I suspect we also annoyed the same folks when we were up early in the morning.
3) Bring enough Euro in cash to pay for your lodging taxes upon arrival. I'm sure Valentina told me but I missed it, and only had part of it on hand because I had only traveled in with enough Euro for the taxi until I got to an ATM.
4) Ask for extra towels :) I'd suggest washing the ones you get, but as there is no dryer, air-drying in the winter becomes very slow.
All in all a wonderful stay in a unique property. I'd happily stay here again.
We stayed for 3 days in November 2016 with our family of 5 and my wife's 2 sisters and niece. We loved the style of the apartment with the beautiful sculptures, the old Roman road through the middle of the apartment, and parts of medieval walls My wife and I shared one bedroom, my wife's sisters shared another, and the 4 kids all fit in one room with 4 beds. It was perfect.
The location is amazing. Our kids were between 7 and 12 years old, so a central location was crucial to minimize walking. The streets right outside the door were bustling and festive every night, but we were able to get a good night sleep every night. We cooked a few times, and brought home some food from the restuarants right around the corner (Mrs. Enrica's suggestions). If the kids got tired during the day, we could take them back home while others kept on shopping and sightseeing.
Mrs. Enrica showed us how everything worked and had great restaurant suggestions. Valentina also arranged transportation for us from the train station which was truly a lifesaver.
We had a great time, and we are already planning on going back.
I stayed here for a week in October 2016 while visiting Rome for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the style and location of this huge apartment. It's full of character, right from the metal designed front doors into the living room with the high ceilings and archways. There's so much living space in all the bedrooms and also the living room. We regularly came back to the apartment in the evening with a bottle of wine (or two) and just relaxed with our friends.
The location is exceptional as well. You're not really more than 15-20 minutes walk away from any of the main sights in Rome and my two favourite places, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, are practically next door. The neighbourhood is amazing as well with all of the narrow streets full of life and atmosphere at all times of day, especially the evenings, so you're sure to find decent food and drink within a few steps.
Finally the service was brilliant. Valentina and Mrs Enrica were both great. Valentina's advice on the location and her contact in the lead up to our visit were so valuable and incredibly helpful. Mrs Enrica was great as well, giving us a clear and detailed tour of the apartment making sure we knew everything before she left. She even helped us find a good hairstylist nearby for some of our wedding guests.
All in all this is a great apartment with lots of charm in a fantastic location. I'd thoroughly suggest it for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a true Roman experience.
If you want a wonderful apartment in the best location in Rome operated by honest and extremely helpful owner. This is your destination. Don't look any further!! Valintina is extremly helpful with whatever needs you may have befor your arrival all the way to the end of your trip. Her assistant will meet you at the apartment and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The apartment is clean and very large for a city center location and was very tastefully decorated with all the amenities you will need.
The location is unbeatable. You are in the center of all the major attraction and you have cafe's just outside your door. There is a grocery store atm machine, a taxi stand and bus stop all within 3 blocks walk.
You can easily walk to all the major attraction within 20-25 minutes depending on how often you stop to admire this beautiful city.
I would not hesitate to book this apartment for my next stay in Rome and I would recommend it to anyone.
The location is in the heart of time with the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna and many restaurants and bars near by . The apartment is a quirky fabulous place with no noise yet in the heart of everything . The moment you open the amazing double metal doors it is like a new world . The building is old so somethings like the hot water are not instantaneous but that is not a problem when you look at everything else . Valentina was great at organising transport and we really appreciated her notes and suggestions for Rome and the guidebooks she left . Would love to come back !
Live like a Roman in the historical downtown, near some of the city’s most desirable attractions. You’ll be a three minute walk from Navona Square and 10 minutes from both Saint Angel Castle, the Pantheon Temple and Saint Peter Church. Distance walking also from the Spanish steps, the Roman Fore and the Trevi Fountain. You’ll find all around you charming and fashionable shops, typical restaurants, folkloristic markets, many museums, and beautiful Lybrary (such as the Chamber of Deputy one or the House of Literatures).
Anything else you might want to get to near or far is easily reachable being so close to every transportation option: a taxi station (this is 1 minute far from the house), city buses, the blue and orange subway lines, and Termini railway station (with the bus terminal to Fiumicino Airport).
