Chris & Angie Anderson live in the area where we own and manage 4 cabins ourselves, overseeing them to make sure everything is first class.
Angie Anderson purchased this cabin in 2013
From the first time I talk with Angie Anderson I was sold on the cabin. We arrived early and the cabin was way more than we expected. The location was great the view was fantastic. We had our first Christmas out of town with all my kids and their kids, we walked thru the door and fell in love we knew it would be a great Christmas. Angie had put a Christmas tree in the living room, the rear porch had a Christmas tree and the master bedroom had a tree that's over and above what we expected. I would highly recommend " Horse N Around" cabin for your family stay. Thanks again Angie Anderson for allowing me to make memories at your cabin. I will and already have sent people your way
Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome cabin with us. From the minute we walked in the split Dutch door, we loved the cabin. Having vacationed in The Smoky Mountain area many times, we had never rented a cabin. We will from now on! Our boys enjoyed having their own king size beds -a first for them!! The decorations are beautiful, the pool table provides hours of enjoyment and the hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin is clean and well kept. All the essential cooking utensils and equipment are provided, even a pizza stone-which was great for our homemade BBQ chicken pizza. I loved the porch and the saddle swing is a nice touch. Even though you are close to town, you would never know it! We enjoyed being close to shopping and activities but still felt like we were secluded in the mountains. Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely be back!!
The cabin was great! We came from Va and some came from Ga. The game room was fun for the kids. The wrap around porches ended up being a comodity as well. The temperatures were unusually warm for this time of year and we ended up spending time on the porches. There was a swing made from a saddle on the lower porch which the kids loved. The kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfy, and the hot tub was really nice in the evenings. I would gladly return and hope it is available next year around the same time. Thanks for some fun filled memories!
My group of 10 was perfectly at home and comfortable in this cabin. We had an absolute blast! Upon arrival, the cabin was clean and ready for us. The cabin had plenty of room for everyone-- two private bedrooms each with a private bath, and a loft area bedroom with a private bath. The downstairs space had a pool table and lots of space for games, watching tv, etc. The kitchen really did have everything we needed-- even a crock pot! The cabin is extremely close to the parkway but still feels like you're up in the mountains and decently far from your neighbors. We had pizza delivered on NYE and then easily went in to Pigeon Forge for a movie and burgers one night and in to Gatlinburg the next day. Everything was stress-free. The only even remote problem we had was that the fireplace didn't work (or we couldn't figure it out) however, we chose to not call the owner's as it really wasn't that big of a deal for us. The grill was slightly underwhelming but again, we weren't planning on using it so it wasn't a big deal. The hot tub did have a slight smell (maybe just the chemicals?) but we enjoyed it all the same. I have no complaints and would recommend this cabin to any group. Fantastic start to 2016!
We came from Boston, Atlanta, Jacksonville. All met up at horsing around for a family vacation. Lots of room, comfortable couches and chairs. The Pool Table was a huge hit, all of us had to try as it had been years since any of us had played pool. The hot tub out on the deck was very inviting and relaxing, even when it was chilly and damp outside the Hot tub was well used. We all fought over who got to take baths in the awesome Jacuzzi in the Main floor master bedroom. Nana & Papa won the main floor Master bedroom so took the most advantage of the Jacuzzi. Pigeon Forge was close enough to walk if you wished and provided lots of entertainment. We mostly stayed at the cabin and enjoyed each others company.
First time our three generations have stayed in a cabin together. The three levels gave us all some privacy and we had plenty of room. Everything was close and yet we still felt we were in the mountains. Thanks Angie for such a nice, clean vacation spot!
