The guest suite, which can be closed off from the rest of the house includes a bedroom with television, a newly-built shower room and sink, a bathroom, two closets, a huge, fully-equipped kitchen with second television, and a large deck with a barbeque. The home is in the Seabreeze area of Rochester, just minutes from Durand Beach at Lake Ontario. An idyllic bike/walking path to the lake can be accessed three minutes from the house. The neighborhood includes Seabreeze Amusement Park, a miniature golf course, and several restaurants. The property's gardens are beautiful in the summer, and there are many places to sit and enjoy them.

About John Sullivan
I currently live in this home after spending a year restoring it. I work days as a school principal. I live with my partner, a small dog, and a cat. I have been in Rochester for seven years after spending the prior seventeen years in southern California. Believe it or not, I like Rochester better. You can't beat the beauty of this area or the many things to do for everyone.
John Sullivan purchased this Apartment in 2016
Why John Sullivan chose East Irondequoit
This house reminds me of the home I grew up in. There were ten of us sharing a big, sprawling home, and I enjoy hosting my siblings and their children when they're in town.
What makes this Apartment unique
The house has two decks (an upper and a lower), a gazebo, a patio in the back of the house, and a sitting area in the backyard, so there are plenty of places to truly enjoy the serenity of the area.

Most gracious host!
John is the best host! He had everything you could want in bathroom and kitchen amenities and supplies, even breakfast foods for a week! Our stay was quiet, but John and his friends or family would happily engage you in conversation if you wanted. We would stay here again.
It was a pleasure hosting you and Doug, Barbara. I'm glad you're back to warmer weather. Perhaps you could send some our way?
Planning a New England tour to see the fall foilage and stopped by Rochester to fish in lake Ontario Everything was wonderful during our stay. John our host was so gracious. There was everything we needed in the well stocked large kitchen....including snacks, juice, coffee, creamer, milk, butter... I could go on and on. John had extra soap, shampoo etc also. The place was very clean and so nicely decorated. Bed very soft. Price was very good. Nothing I can even give constructive criticism about. Excellent stay... I appreciate He allows visitors to rent just one night. Thank you John!
Thank you, Vickie, for such a lovely review. I'm always tickled that guests feel comfortable in my home.It was a pleasure to meet you and your husband, and I hope your trip through New England was a satisfying one. Have a wonderful holiday season! John
Lovely well kept home! Room and amenities were great. So thoughtful to leave breakfast fixings, fruit bowl and cookies!
John is a wonderful host and the suite fit our needs perfectly
The suite has everything you’d ever need and is very well set up. The area is super safe and just up the hill from the lake or the Durand-Eastman Park. Great place and HIGHLY recommended.
