We also enjoy taking the Cumbres and Tolec Scenic Train from Chama to Osier and back in the summer. It is an old classic steam train from the mining and logging days. We recommend lunch at Osier and then a return on the train to Chama. The lunch at Osier is great! It is a day long trip and a lot of fun. The views are stunning. We have seen large herds of Elk while riding the train. Unlike the Silverton, Colorado train you are up high in the Rockies with great views!

There are also lots of galleries on Canyon Road which are fun to stroll through.
If you come out the front door and go down Palace Ave. you are a 8-10 minute walk to the Shed Restaurant. They have great lunches and dinners. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe! If you want to eat at the shed, make a reservation! It is a popular restaurant! They open at 11 AM for lunch and close at 3 PM. They open for dinner at 5 PM .

Gorgeous house with a perfect location
We LOVED staying at Casa Bonita! It very comfortably fit 8 of us and easily could have accommodated more. The house was comfortable with great amenities. Although the house itself was fantastic, the location can't be beat. We were walking distance to downtown and a 10-15 minute drive to 10,000 Waves Spa, Tecolote Cafe, the Pantry, and Meow Wolf. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Bonita to any large group going to Santa Fe. Thank you Doug and Bonnie!
Thank you for the review. Close driving to great places but also walking distance to the plaza with shops, galleries, museums & old churches.
Great place. Had everything we needed and more.
Perfect Santa Fe Get-Away!
Beautiful home and great location within walking distance of the Plaza and other local attractions! It was a perfect location for our group of friends to relax, prepare meals together or access great restaurants, and laugh!
Thanks for the great review! Casa Bonita is a short walk from Canyon Road and the famous Plaza. We completed a total
Beautiful open House with lots of gathering areas both inside and out. Our stay was very comfortable and the kids had a great time too. Quick walk to downtown or over to Canyon Road make this the perfect location. Highly recommend!
Casa Bonita is a beautiful, fully-equipped and private vacation hideaway. It is perfect for a large family or group of friends that craves both togetherness and their own private spaces at the same time.
We were a group of four couples, and really enjoyed our stay at Casa Bonita. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the courtyard area, which was private and fabulous. Our only (very minor) complaint was that the air conditioner was very loud and could not be turned off, despite really cool nighttime temps.
Thanks for the review. Our location is great since we are a 10 minute walk from the Plaza and canyon Road.
I will have the AC checked.
