Very comfortable home
My husband and I were looking for a comfortable place to stay for ~9 days while we visited Mt. Shasta for hiking and climbing. We decide on Shantam Sheptow's property after reviewing several listings. We were very happy with our choice.
Shantam had gone to great lengths to leave very useful information to help guests navigate the home. There was even a note taped above the toaster explaining that a previous guest had taken the toaster knobs (who does that?) but that he'd left a can opener to use instead. How thoughtful!
The home was spacious and comfortable; the wifi connection was great, as was the media center. My favorite part, though, was the pond. You can sit on the bench and read, while enjoying the pond and the beautiful flowers that surround it.
Also, the location is ideal! It's maybe a one-minute drive to "downtown" Mt. Shasta (it's a very tiny town). If we ever return to Mt. Shasta, we definitely would rent this property again.
Cozy, comfortable and convenient!
Was exactly the place we needed for our small family. Even had just enough of the right toys to keep the kiddos occupied and happy as we hung out at the house in between our plans throughout Shasta. The owners were friendly and very helpful in making sure we had all we needed during our stay. Will definitely stay again if we rent a home on our next visit.
Thanks soooo much Angela... looking forward to seeing you next time..have a great summer!
Awesome view and location
We loved our stay at Angel House! Wonderful morning sunrises at nearby Sesson Meadows.. Peaceful setting and comfortable accommodations. Shantam greeted us, offering suggestions to further enjoy our Shasta experience. I would recommend to family or group. Enjoy

Best place we have ever stayed in Mt. Shasta
Angel House was a real special treat... for both my aging parents and our kids. The kids loved all the games and the front yard pond with ducks. And parents loved the mountain view, sitting quietly by the pond and the easy walk to downtown. Thanks so much to Shantam and Su Yun for making us feel so welcome. It is truly a great new discovery for us. We will be back every year for our Mt. Shasta family retreat.
Thank you so much Sam.. looking forward to your return next year.. As usual, it was awesome having you and your family as guests.
