It is welcoming to all, couples, families, dog friendly and there is a retro games area with pinball and air hockey, and plenty of parking available.

About Jane at Beachshacks
My husband once described his ideal of a perfect home. A detached house with a beautiful garden, tranquil & secluded yet close to the coast and within our beloved Cornwall. I phoned him a few months later to say that I had found it, just round the corner from where we got married. Put in an offer he said – you haven’t even seen it, I replied – so, I trust you - and that was it!
Jane at Beachshacks purchased this Cottage in 2006

A wonderful well equipped comfortable retreat - detached, secluded garden and field - we loved it.
Payment confusion with Owners Direct system (implies and sates payment in full on credit card but does not clearly state they only take their service charge. Then need to actually pay rental charge to owner direct but fantastic comms with owner - lovely welcome pack, well equipped, stylish and comfortable. Fantastic secluded garden, gazebo and surrounding countryside. Great location for all major sites in Cornwall really. We had a really lovely retreat stay!
We rented this property for a family gathering. It was the perfect location, not too far from shops yet off the beaten track enough that we could just relax and catch up. The garden was beautiful. We spent early mornings on the patio by the lounge and evenings on the decking which was conveniently far enough away from the house that we wouldn't wake the toddler, but near enough that we could hear if he cried. The lounge was large and sunny. The caretaker was so helpful in sorting out baby equipment when we arrived. Would definitely rent this property again.
Comfortable, well equipped and maintained cosy cottage.
The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. Jane the owner was most helpful in ensuring the sleeping arrangements were just right for us. The kitchen and utility area were both very well equipped. The house was warm and all the appliances and broadband worked perfectly. The property was very clean, comfortable and extremely well-maintained. We loved the garden and paddock. There was plenty of parking and the cottage and garden were private yet had some good views across the countryside. We enjoyed visiting Porthleven and Prussia Cove in particular. We had a lovely meal at Amelie's in Porthleven. I would highly recommend this property to others.
