About Scott Rogers

We are are recently empty-nested and decided to do something different with our lives, and wanted to have our horses at home, thus we purchased Blossom Valley Farm.

Scott Rogers purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Scott Rogers chose Olympic Peninsula & Pacific Coast

The first time we drove through the trees and saw the valley and the property, we knew we would live here. The valley is resplendent with wildlife, wetlands, and grasslands, surrounded by forest. We are close to our favorite town on the Olympic Peninsula, the beautiful Puget Sound, and Olympic Mountains, yet still just a short distance to Seattle.

What makes this cabin unique

Every moment of every day there is a different view and all of them beautiful, rain or shine. We are moments from mountains or Sound. Activities abound; hiking, biking, skiing, snow shoeing, horse back riding, kayaking, fishing, hunting, golf.

Our experience was wonderful. Very peaceful and tranquil. The foundation and the outdoor benches made it great to enjoy the outside and the sunsets at night. Thanks so much Scott!

Beautiful, quaint little cottage. We loved the view and the just the overall feel of the house. The owner (Scott) was very accommodating and went above and beyond. Really great place and would recommend the Hobbit Hut to anyone. I plan on coming back here with my new fiancé!!

Peaceful and cozy

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay over Valentines weekend at the Hobbit Hut. This was our first trip to Port Townsend, the weather was not so great the time of year, but we still explored the cute shops and enjoyed some good restaurants in town. We spent most of our time in the hut though just relaxing and watching movies and it was perfect. Loved that they had a tea kettle so we could make tea since it was cold outside. The landscape of the property is beautiful as well, open grassy fields surrounded by the forest. Thanks for the great vacation rental, Scott! Sorry we didn't get to catch you again during our stay.

AN excellent choice for a lovely weekend in the country.
