About Marie and Lorenzo
I moved from chaotic Moscow City to a peaceful Medieval town in Tuscany a few years ago. It became my second home and the place I would like to come back to again and again after traveling all around the world. This little village is so charming and genuine that I fell in love with it at first sight.
Marie and Lorenzo purchased this House in 2008
Why Marie and Lorenzo chose Vicopisano
Among all the towns around Pisa this was the most genuine and full of history. Close to railway stations and airports, but still very quiet and surrounded by incredibly beautiful landscapes. It's close to mountains as well as to the sea. It's a strategically ideally located property if you want to get easily to Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Livorno, Siena, San Gimignano or Volterra. It will take less than an hour to drive to Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi beaches.
What makes this House unique
We are lucky to be helped by our friends Lorenzo and Marie (seen in the photo) who will be dealing with your booking enquiries and will meet you at the property. They live nearby and know the area really well, so you can rely on them with anything you may need to know about this region.

We loved our apartment and time spent in Vicopisano. Everyday was a new experience and our hosts, Marie and Lorenzo were the best. Marie was always available to answer our questions whenever we needed her and provided us with much information. She helped to make this unique and charming corner of Tuscany a home away from home.

Charming small town stay
An utterly charming apartment located ~30 minutes outside of Pisa. Maria and Lorenzo provide extensive information regarding the town of Vicopisano, its history, and restaurant recommendations. Parking was conveniently located a street over from the house. Casa due Torre was our home base for our five day stay in Tuscany. We trained from nearby Cascina into Florence, drove to La Spezia and took the train from there to Cinque Terra on another day, and went truffle hunting in Siena, which was about 2 hours away. We originally intended to attend the truffle festival in San Miniato, which is also close by, but the truffle hunter was booked! Casa due Torre was an ideal stay for our Tuscan adventure!
Awesome stay in Vicopisano
We stayed in Casa due Torre for 5 nights in October and had a wonderful time. The highlight was the cooking class at Marie and Lorenzo's with Chef Olimpia, don't miss the opportunity, make sure you book a cooking class with Olimpia. We also enjoyed the tour of the castle and our visit with Lorenzo to the Olive Farm. Thank you Marie and Lorenzo for a wonderful stay!
The couple that run it are magnificent people. We loved our visit there and wish we could have stayed a little longer!!! Loved olive oil ad wine tours.
Super little house in lovely town
Comfortable ,convenient and clean. Very helpful friendly owners.
We loved the prosecco and our grandson enjoyed the fruit - sitting out on the rear terrace in the sunlight between the 'due torre' - marvellous.
