Walk to the ocean or stay in and play.

Why Kevin Christiansen chose Morro Bay
I love the ocean and and the ability to get away with only a two and a half hour drive from home. Plus when it is really hot in Fresno, Morro Bay always offers much cooler temperatures. I love the coastal life and hope to retire there some day.
What makes this House unique
I love wine and enjoy doing wine tours each time I'm at the house. I meet a lot of wonderful people this way and learn a lot about wine. With the beach only a 3 minute walk from the house the ocean offers miles of beach to walk and explore. You can actually walk all the way to the 'rock' if you want. There is also a dogs allowed beach near by as well.

Comfortable and good location
This property was comfortable for our family of 4 adults and 3 children. Great location to the strand beach. Could use some TLC for an outstanding property. Owner was easy to work with and quick response.
Fantastic Beach home
Once again we had an amazing time. Property is walking distance to the beach and we took full advantage. Love everything about this “beach house” as my kids call it:)
Cozy and entertaining!
We had a great time! Perfect spot between Morro Bay and Cayucos. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong and pool table. We will be coming back for sure!
Excellent value and location
We visited Morro Bay as part of a college tour with another family. In total, there were 4 adults and 3 kids. The house is in a fantastic location. It is a quintessential beach house and neighbors are very close. It's much like Mission Beach area in San Diego in that respect. For this reason, we didn't spend much time on the deck or in the crow's nest because we didn't want to disturb anyone. There is a beautiful view of the Rock from both areas. It is only a two-minute walk to the beach and a 2.5-mile walk along the beach to the village. Highway 1 is a minute away so traveling to SLO or Cuyucos is a breeze. The cleaning fee is low so you will need to do a good job of tidying before you leave.
Upon arrival, you'll find the front lock to be very tricky. You may need to reenter the code 5-6 times. Try pulling the door in or pushing against it. Eventually, the lock will open. Locking it when you leave requires the same jiggling. The house sleeps six comfortably in beds. We have an 11-year old who was fine to sleep on the couch. Otherwise, there is a mattress under the bed upstairs that can serve as an extra bed. As mentioned in reviews below, you will need to make your own beds with provided sheets and blankets. It doesn't take long, but it is an extra step after a long drive. The beds were comfortable and warm. Bathrooms were clean and towels were provided. Bring your own toiletries, including soap. The kitchen is well-appointed. Only glitch was that the ice maker doesn't work, but there is a market about 5-minutes away for ice. We all enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us which was a very nice touch.
We had some top notch meals while in the area. I'd strongly recommend Cass House in Cuyucos (buy the hot sauce too). For breakfast, we enjoyed Dorn's Original Breakers Cafe. They make a great Bloody Mary. Try Novo in SLO for dinner. We did an amazing wine tour at Tolosa Winery off of Edna closer to Pismo Beach. Definitely hit up Wavelengths for rentals and surf/skate apparel. They are the nicest folks.
Hope you enjoy your stay. I imagine that we will be back.
We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed staying here. The House was in a good location, beautiful views. Plenty of space and the whole family enjoyed the pool table. We would definitely rent here again. Thanks.
Overall Great House with A couple Issues to Address
Overall the house was great: location was central, house was spacious and it has some nice amenities. The game room with ping pong and Foosball table were a hit with the kids. There were also lots of board games and puzzles, and some toys for the kids. Two issues that should really be address by management: cleaning and having to put your own sheets on the bed. The house needs a serious deep clean. Lots of dust everywhere and the carpet needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. We also had to put our own sheets on the beds, which is something I have never done and I have stayed at over 30 vacation rentals. While on vacation and paying for a vacation rental or hotel, it should be a hassle-free experience and you shouldn't have to make your own bed when you arrive. I gave it four stars because the house is great, but these issues need to be addressed and it can easily be a five-star.
Morro Bay is located on the Central Coast and has many attractions. There are over 300 winery's near by for tours and tasting. Hearst Castle is near by and wale watching.
