We had a wonderful 2 weeks before the virus hit. We had to stay in and leave 5 days before our scheduled stay. The house was very nice. We had no problems. We would recommend this property highly

Isabella's home on Richard Place
We chose Isabella's home because of the ease to reach Siesta Key and its features. We were not disappointed! We could be on Siesta Key Beach in 10-15 minutes, to a Publix market in 2-3 minutes, to a delightful shopping and dining area in Gulf Gate in under 5 minutes plus easy access to all over attractive features of Sarasota. We enjoyed the house for our month including the lanai, the comfortable beds, the excellent shower, and the delightful couple who cleaned it for us once during the month.
Dealing with Isabella was terrific as she always responded to questions quickly and helpfully, particularly when we were unable to access more than a few channels on the TV. She promptly contacted Comcast, upgraded service and made sure it was working for us. Isabella was a pleasure to work with. In summary, then, our experience was very positive and our month, a delight!
Lovely Home difficult landlord
From the first day of our stay water dripped slowly out of the bathroom sink...I asked if that was normal and the owner said yes. Then we noticed the kitchen sink and shower had the same problem and that the toilet took three times to flush. After two weeks they had someone come look at it. It was not the water coming into the home but the mineral build up (same to us..little water) The toilet leaked. The owner told us that they could never make us happy for complaining about this. Their own handyman said that the water levels were unacceptable. If the owner had apologized instead of gotten defensive and unpleasant it would have helped us all.
I have traveled a lot and the only plumbing experience that I had that was this bad was in a second class hotel in Cambodia 15 years ago. We are generally patient people and understand that these are not hotels but homes but a certain level of maintenance in a timely manner and a courteous way is expected during any vacation.
The response that we got from the owner is below. We left six days early because of the note below (changed our flights..it cost us $400). They fixed the problems just before we left.

never a big issue for us. We have been renting the house in winter short term and long term off season. Never had any complains about it. We just stayed in the house for few days before your arrival and everything appeared normal to us.Isabella"
This review is very unfair and the guest is most likely upset since they were asked to find an alternative accomodation in Sarasota but opted to return home earlier. They received a refund for unused 6 nights of a total 30 nights they had booked.
This is the message I received the following day after the guest checked in:

The toilet leak was reported 2 weeks later and a maintenance person showed up the following morning. We changed all faucets throughout the house (completely remodeled just 2 years ago) because the guest had an “obsession” with the water pressure and many demands during Christmas/New Years when it was hard to and sometimes impossible to find service the same day. The guest emailed me that none of the items needed an immediate attention but we had taken care of them anyway. Since changing all faucets did not please the guest and the demands escalated, we asked them to find another accommodation that would make them happier.
